I've been behind from the start, so I didn't partake in any discussions.. but I've just finished watching and I must say, It was a great series.
However the production value fails; They obviously tried from the beginning to cause a rift in splitting the tribes.. but they merged them WAY to early, they didn't really give time for any cliques to form.
However I do give them cred for adding David/Timmy in later. They've tried pulling this before, and failed misrably.. but this season it worked quite well and created alot of drama.

However, This season just turned out to be "Good vs Evil" I guess..
Team Nicola: Nicola, Dani, Carly and Simon vs.
Team David: David, Timmy, Esther and Joe.

However it was nice to see Joe flip mid way threw, it proves that he isn't a tool.

I didn't like the way the public voted however, for the most part they seemed to have gone with Brand Name rather than Entertainment Value.. Personally I think the final three should have been Nicola, David & Joe.

I would have liked to seen the boot order be this:

12. Esther
11. Simon
10. Carly
09. Dani
08. Martina
07. Brian
06. George
05. Timmy
04. Robert
03. David
02. Joe
Winner. Nicola

It's interesting to note however, it appears the show didn't really get its bang for its buck. They actually paid the most to get Dani, who left Second.. and paid very little to get Nicola who lasted much longer.
