Call me stupid but I can see Randy making moves to block Crystal from winning anything at the auction then gloating and telling Crystal that "nothing tastes better than 500 dollars" Corrine, thinking Bob has the real HII tries to concoct a scheme with Randy to bring it out and blind-side someone. They probably are told by Bob it is a fake but decide that they will tell the others that "another idol" had been hidden and Bob found it. (After all it is a pretty good imitation) Unfortunately, the plan will not work and Bob will become the victum of Corrines plan. Crystal will think about switching sides as she is afraid that Sugar will switch and vote her out. Kenny convinces her that he can hold the alliance together, as he is the glue. So nothing happens there. all of this is pure spec.

Posts: 3160 (11/14/08 02:25 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts	Well the food auction seems obvious in that Randy will be the dog in the manger to Crystal's great frustration. I imagine that will be pretty colourful. As far as the HII goes and the possible alliance jumper, I see Bob in that role. I can totally see him rethinking the Onion alliance, especially after the last TC and given Randy's propensity for bitter, vindictive, verbal abuse of anyone who crosses him.

Posts: 754 (11/14/08 02:44 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts	Interestingly enough, when I read about the rivalry, my first thought was Randy vs. Matty, but Randy vs. Crystal works even better. Whichever, Randy is at the heart of it, for sure. "Dangerous" plan for the idol? Dangerous for whom? Thinking this is Bob trying to work the idol, but it could be one of his alliance mates. Wow, alliance jumper. Not Sugar since technically she doesn't have an alliance. Can't imagine any of Matty, Crystal, Kenny or Susie as a jumper since they have a majority. So maybe Bob? He thinks it's time for him to develop some game.

We've been seeing Kenny as growing in confidence, and he did seem a little fixated on the non-hidden immunity idol that Charlie took from him. For now, I'm thinking it's him. (Who knows what the plan is...) So many existing rivalries, so few auction items... Randy seems the most likely to start something for no particular reason, but Corinne has had issues with Susie. Crystal, Matty, and Ken have all fanned flames. So I'd say someone(s) other than Bob and Sugar. Betraying to avoid elimination sounds like Bob. He talked a lot last week about being next out, although seemed to think he would be safer after the merge. Matty could be a possibility, if Susie and Crystal start talking about removing an immunity threat, but it seems early for that. Maybe Sugar, if the promo monkeys have her in the Crystal/Kenny/Susie/Matty alliance, especially if someone starts trying something fancy about immunity idols. I don't know...

Posts: 1740 (11/14/08 06:24 PM) Registered User More Recent Posts	Although Bob doesn't seem to be the type to switch alliances, without Charlie as a buffer in the group he may re-think thta position. I may be wrong but it seemed to be that Corrine was trying to cook up a plot having to do with the HII. Maybe she wants Bob to make himself the bait with his HII or she/Randy/Bob figure that Sugar has the HII and want to try to blind-side her. (It is always dangerous to try and get a group to force out the HII because if anyone spills the beans, the HII is played and the minority ends up deciding who goes) The three unfortunately would go to Matty who may toy with the idea of a Sugar blind-side but he won't be able to go through with it (Hasn't JP said that Matty is too honest). Bottom line is the plan will blow up in Corrine/Randy and Bobs face with Corrine (as ringleader) getting the boot.

Posts: 10297 (11/15/08 05:06 AM) MESS Moderator More Recent Posts	Jeff Probst blog may indicate that Corinne is the one thinking of bolting: Corrine, it's just a thought, but when you sense the horse is going in a different direction, it might be wise to lessen your hold on the reins and let the horse guide the way. (goes onto say Kenny is riding the horse yatta, yatta). Bob mentioned in the Insider that maybe he aught to start playing the game. Does he take that chance with his fake Hidden Idol? He's so close to the vest my guess is no one will know he has a fake HI. If he senses he's going at TC he pulls it out before the vote and tells everyone he's playing it, and hopes for the bets. He might switch at some point, but also not until he senses he's next. From SP: Randy with Corinne talking to Matty and hatching a scheme, no doubt Sugar's HI would play some role. So it's possible that if Bob showed the idol to Charlie that he may have shown Corinne or others. O/T: Charlie said there was a big discussion at TC about Kenny using the word "fag" when talking about Charlie. That wasn't edited into the show.

Posts: 417 (11/15/08 05:43 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts	Per that 16 minute audit interview availabe at SF there was A LOT of discussion at that TC about Kenny's use of the word 'fag'. Other tidbits: Charlie knew the game was about to begin and so wore 4 pair of underwear. He later gave them away to his tribemates. The production people were very angry about the 'contraband'. They had NO FOOD at NO FLINT (to make a fire OR practice fire starting) at NuNuFang for the three days it existed before the merge. While Bob was groggy waking up from a four hour nap he showed Charlie the 'idol' he made, so he knew it was fake. Randy was under medical watch after treatment for a severely swollen ankle. Sugar is getting a sweetheart edit when she was actually very much disliked. She was bossy and she didn't ask the owners when she made their burlap bags into clothing for herself.
