I would do all of the basic survival stuff before the game (good clothes, read up on survival, gain weight then shrink stomach, ect).
Strategically, I would choose early one (end of day 1, most likely) how much I want to be proactive and how much I want to be reactive. If I perceive the cast to have a lot of people who would want to take control of the game and fight each other (like in Pearl Islands), I would rather play a reactive game of backstabbing and taking out "big threats." Emotions wouldn't be a issue, so lying and backstabbing would be easy, if ever necessary. If I perceive the cast to be kind of strategically inept, or like China's cast with a bunch of people who want to be in alliances and unwilling to make really aggressive moves, I would want to be strategically more aggressive, trying to get people on my side early and constantly keeping the numbers favorable to me, even if that means getting rid of "allies." If given the HII, I would either try to use it in a power coup when I can predict who will be getting the votes, cut an alliance with him and one other person, and coup the power (this would most likely happen at 6, since that would give my side 3-2 after the idol blindside.)
Some more general stuff: I would be nice to everyone, since being nice to people and making bonding is key for getting jury votes. I would try to play the final tribal council like Todd, pointing out and emphasize my constant strategic play. I would analyze situations not only for the next few days, but try to anticipate how things would go for the remainder of the game based on all my decisions, which would help prevent me from making any blatantly stupid moves. I would, of course, not be confrontational, since that is a one-way ticket home, and I would work hard at camp and in challenges. However, the leadership position is bad, and I would push someone else there (like Todd did in China). Being not a big guy, but also in good physical shape, this would work out quite nicely.
