Why should I give money when someone dies? |

I've never heard of giving money when someone dies.
Am I out of the loop? |

Looks like you got bamboozled and hoodwinked.

I've heard of "in lieu of flowers, please donate yada yada".... and giving food items... never heard of giving money

Because they didn't have any life insurance?

What is the dead husband going to do with $100?
Oh, I get it...it was a hit and you are paying them off. |

Have you people never been to a Viewing.
Here they literally have someone in the lobby taking donations. It's tacky. |

this is the 3rd time I have encountered this, always through work, all 3 were different companies. The first time it was because a woman had a 9th month
miscarriage, the second was when a 30 year old found her husband dead suddenly (she netted about $20k !!) and I got another request for someone I dont know but
apparently works here.

How do you have a 9th month miscarriage? I'm pretty sure that's called "Your baby died."

I have seen this before, a few times actually. It seems to occur when the deceased leaves behind a young family. It's odd, to say the least.
I even heard someone bitch that people didn't give enough. Talk about fucking gall. It's called life insurance, people.....,if you have young children, buy some. It doesn't cost much for a younger person, particularly non-smokers. |

You'd be surprised at how expensive dying is these days.

That's what I was going to say. Funeral costs are expensive. Not everyone can spring for several thousand dollars unexpectedly.

I have never given money at a funeral before, but I know the family takes it. I would if it were someone close to me that really did need it though, so not to
worry Eury.

Did I mention that my second cousin's best friend's stepmother recently passed on? An unfortunate ending to a rather empassioned "Nigerian
Bicycle", from what I've heard.
Perhaps the family did not have enough money to cover funeral expenses, Visa Declined. That being said, it's better to designate a specific designation in lieu of flowers, cards, et al. |

One man's fetus is another man's baby.

People should have at least minimal life insurance.
I understand when it's a trust for a young child. Collecting for someone who had a stillborn because there are funeral expenses and no life insurance I could also see. Otherwise people should have life insurance. |

What kills me is when I see them begging for cash for masses. Let the pedo priests pay their own way, thanks. But it's usually for older folks obits. I
guess they're hoping it slides their way into the hereafter.

funny you should mention that worthless piece of mormon shit. I received another email at work today from the personal email account of one of our
particularly annoying customers. Her screen name was haleysmommy, but this one is not fat. Maybe there is a club somewhere.
