It's about two shows in and a must see--Lifetime repeats stuff often enough and you can watch episodes online, so it'd be easy to catch up. I first heard about it on The Soup and it doesn't fail to entertain, if for no other reason than this guy: Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist Hosted by Vanessa Marcil About the Show In Lifetime's new reality competition series, "Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist," contestants from around the country will compete for a contract as a professional artist with Max Factor, a cash prize of $100,000 and the opportunity to be the makeup artist for an upcoming InStyle photo shoot. In each episode, the contestants, all living under one roof in Los Angeles, compete in two different makeup competitions, designed to test the skills and personality traits - including compassion and confidence - necessary for success in the field. Following the second challenge, one contestant will be eliminated.

What can I say if I see something shiny I can stare for five minutes, my secret is out I have ADD!! I think most of you knew that. I did totally like this show.

I love him! If he doesn't win, it will be a crime. When he walked out in that Mary Poppins get up the first thing I thought was.. Joel Mchale is going to have a field that with that shit. <3 I think it was a joke that the bride didn't pick him to do her make up. She looked awful, Mike and the chick that got booted in the first challenge were goners from the get. They went out exactly when they were supposed to. I love how everything that chick referenced for make up was Madonna, yet none of her looks even came close to Madonna's. Ever.

And also that he's literally insane and not just reality tv insane. He seems like the best overall, but he's never won a challenge except for immunity the first week. Those two boring random queens are dominating. And Mo is the only one left that's never won anything. <3

Go away, I'm busy." and after being saved from elimination, "Thanks for seventh place." Part of the competition is "compete in two different makeup competitions, designed to test the skills and personality traits - including compassion and confidence - necessary for success in the field." Can an insane narcissist actually win???

I am going to do some major catching up! I was seriously wondering when they were going to do this kind of show. Lets face it the world of make-up is endless.

Posts: 5177 (12/03/08 10:54 AM) A Danger to Myself & Others Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I noticed that Maxi doesn't wear a ton of make up, I am sure he wears foundation mostly because his complexion is immaculate, but as for eye make and stuff, I think he doesn't tend to go far with that unless it is the elimination or whatever. I just watched last nights episode and it was good, I loved that Maxi won the immunity. That made me happy for the rest of the show. I could tell Mo was going to go, she ran her course, and I am feeling the other chick goes next week. The boys are way more consistent with good look then the girls were/are. I love that they showed how self aware Maxi is, that edit could mean good things... but God knows? I also liked that at elimination he did apologise and composed himself differently..kudos to him! Maxi FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

And once during a confessional, he whipped out a battery powered fan.
