So I was just informed today that I will be getting laid off right before Christmas, because they are merging my job with someone elses, and that someone else
has been at my place of employment longer than I have so I am getting the boot (zomg Happy Thanksgiving Lauren!).
I knew this was coming as rumors/talk spread like wildfire and took the liberty of reapplying/submitting my admission application to my alma mater. The reason I did this was because I have my bachelors in psychology and there is really nothing I can do with that that isn't sublimely mediocre.
My plan was to get a second bachelors in elementary education, and with my previous credits will only take 3 semesters to complete. I could go to grad school for psych, but lets face it, I'm not that smart.
So what do I do......
1. Take the pay cut, go back to my retail job part time while attending classes to get my second bachelors.
OR
2. Just look for another full-time w/ benefits job.
I cannot decide.
