Longtime SK fan, but I'm not sure I could come up with 10 movies (based on his actual horror novels/stories) that I'd consider good. MISERY is probably
the one exception.

Missed these too, according to his website:
Graveyard Shift- crap Cats Eye- crap Creepshow- mostly crap The DarkHalf- mostly crap Desperation- never saw it The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer- no clue Christine- not bad Firestarter- not bad The Langoliers- the actual monsters looked dumb, whole thing felt kinda awkward Hearts in Atlantis- totally weak, a waste of Alan Tudyck Kingdom Hospital- never saw it The Mangler- never saw it The Night Flier- never saw it Nightmares and Dreamscapes- never saw it Quicklsilver Highway- never saw it Riding the Bullet- never saw it The Running Man- never saw it Sleepwalkers- hilariously bad Thinner- meh The Tommyknockers- not too bad, but far from great. Jimmy Smits was badly miscast. Trucks- what? |

The child actress in THE LANGOLIERS was spectacularly bad. Damn shame since children tend to be important and powerful figures in SK stories.

Kate Maberly, she was wonderful in The Secret Garden but she was just off in The Langoliers.

Kingdom Hospital is on SciFi pretty much monthly. It's not bad.
