Wow! I recorded it and haven't watched it yet and I'm bummed reading everyone's remarks that this show was terrible. I was hoping for something
to tide me over until SYTYCD, but it looks like I'm in for major disappointment. At least I can FF through the bad parts when I watch tonight. I think
it'll be worth it to see Pasha & Anya.
So, does a country get booted off tonight or do they all perform throughout the duration of the season and they just hand out an award for the best country at the end? |

I tuned in a few minutes late - was it explained why the Russian and Chinese judges were dressed in traditional attire and the other judges weren't?

Rock of Love Bus, Real Housewives, & The Bachelor - embarrassed and uncomfortable to admit you watch and enjoy them. Superstars of Dance - just plain
uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch. This show isn't even a train wreck - it's not even in the same ballpark as interesting or fun (even though the
jumping, flying monks were cool). You would think people pretending to be from other countries waving flags in the audience, judges dressed in funny costumes,
couples leftover from other dance programs, a deadly boring host, and another bobbing head ex beauty queen hostess would be enough to catapult it to the
shrine of "so bad it is good", but in mho, it does not come close. Although Pasha and Anya are still hot.

The Chinese duo most certainly is not pulled in from the street. Unca Nigel was being a total ass towards them at the taping, patronizing and verging on
racist... and they had no clue what he was saying to them.
And damn. I noticed the hot Russian at the taping, never realizing it was Pasha. |

Sooooo... We've noticed how fake this show is but this really is SMDH worthy:
After the performances the judges give their scores. Argentina Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo India Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo Australia Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo South Africa Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo America Judge: 7 Audience applauds judge Ireland Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo Russia Judge: 7 Audience: booooooooooooo WTF?!?!? |

The Irish duet was an absolute delight to watch. Beautiful costumes, graceful, just wonderful. I'm surprised they only got two nines and those were from
Russia and China.

I loved the Irish couple's performance, too.
Anybody think Unca's gonna do some more recyclin' with that American group dance, as in we'll be seeing some SYTYCD alums? Here's hoping one of them is Mark.

China having 3/4 out their acts eliminated already <3.
I can tell their is some anti bias for the Americans. I too didn't know what country the American duet was from, and they were fantastic! Then wtf, SEVENS? Thankfully some judges balanced it out with 10's and they were able to survive. I also thought the American tapper was underscored. The Australian dude had way less content and he got a higher score. The hip hop group is the best thing on there. Hopefully they win. Overall the show sucks and I'll probably just DVR it from now on. |

I watched Sun night's show last night and I agree with everyone else, a real let down. OMG, Flatley is terrible as a host. Does he have a pulse??
I think a lot of the low scores by certain judges is their way of saying that they didn't think the performance was in the classification of "dance." Like the American couple, to me it was more gymnastic & lifts with music playing. I thought the Chinese ribbon dance was really pretty to watch & surprised that was so lowly scored, and I thought it was probably because they didn't really consider it "dance." But then, while really impressive, the monks got great scores and I expected them to get low scores, because it was really just martial arts moves to music. I don't really get this show, I guess. Pasha/Anya <3<3 & that Argentinian Tango was smoking hot!!! I also enjoyed the Indian solo girl with the bells around her ankles. Most of the other acts were disappointing, especially the Bollywood pair who were horribly out of synch. Aussie tap dancer annoyed me, because he looked ridiculous wearing bermuda shorts & a tank top with tap shoes. |
