Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Wonderful World Remove this ad so i'm all excited about volunteering at my local animal shelter but then they tell me i need a tetanus shot and that fucker is going to cost me $42.00 plus a $16.00 processing mother fuckin' feeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's already been a fuckin' shitty fuckin' week from hell and all i wanted to do was something good and now i can't because that's too much fuckni' money!!! Prepare for it. They don't hurt. Your arm will be a little annoyingly sore for a few hours but it won't stop you from doing anything. I'm pretty clumsy so to be safe I make sure I have my tetanus shot every ten years like you're suppose too. They are free to get here, though.

The minimum is one every ten years but I usually get a couple more than that after cutting myself on something or stepping on some nasty sharp object. (Save the snarky comments - I'm around a lot of construction type work) ETA: Even if you go to your doc with a reason for getting a shot you're still going to get charged for it. Tell him it's been more than 10 years since your last shot, you need it to work with a volunteer organization, and pay your $20 co-pay. Geez you people make things so complicated around here.
