Everyone including the jurors were laughing which was the purpose of the fake idol trick. Bob did not have to do it. Randy was the target even by Matty after Randy called him a whore. Then he laughed while he planned his next fake idol trick with the most hated person left. Up until he scolded Sugar, I thought he was considered among the "good" ones but not anymore. He just didn't have to do anything to stay in the game up until then. Now he has to get sneaky and make promises that he may not keep just like the others. If it makes the others "evil" then Bob should also now be considered "evil". |

Not that I am doubting you, but why would Sugar not be in the finals? It also does not make sense from an editing standpoint. Bob and Susie have been
severely neglected by the editors throughout the season.

Corinne quote:
Well played Sugar and Matty! Corinne keeps proclaiming that these people are so stupid. Well, time and time again, they have outsmarted Corinne. Methinks the 'fierce bitch' Corinne, is truly the dumb bitch. And what a horrible thing to hear that she can't find work and she lost her car. WOOOO HOOOO! Could not have happened to a more deserving person. yaaa! Also quoted in this article: ...But the only way this show would turn out good is if Bob won because everyone else there doesn't deserve a penny of a million dollars. I don't think Bob makes it to F3 if she is stating this, as he would be the heir apparent if he did make F3.

Randy was the vote long before Bob gave him the idol. Bob was away at EI when the vote turned if they really ever did consider booting Bob. We really only saw
Matty suggesting Bob but saw no one agree to do it. Sugar and Bob were the only ones in on it judging by the clip where Sugar tells the others to expect a bang
at tonights TC or something like that. They looked like they didn't know what she was talking about. If Bob were forced into it they would have shown it to
keep his "good" image alive.

Yes, SUgar and Bob were the only ones in on the FAKE IDOL part. The original boot plan was for Bob - because Bob was the II threat (and has thus proven that to
be true). Sugar was the only one going for Randy - but with Randy's extra bad behavior that day, they were able to get the vote to switch over to Randy.
The 'bang' was the hysteria of Randy playing a fake idol. HIlarious. It was not enough for her to get them to vote Randy out, but she had to rub his
face in it in the process. And Bob clearly stated how uncool he thought all the laughing and junk was.
Whatever. Bob made fake idols to divert the vote to someone else besides himself. That makes him evil??? Bob is the least evil of the people out there. He is a survivor, always seems to be in good spirits and helping to make camp life more enjoyable, and he is genuinely enjoying his time in this pristine area of Africa. |

We only saw Matty suggest Bob. No one else said yes Bob goes. It wasn't "they" as in K/C/S/M who used Bob's idol. It was only Sugar and Bob.
The others did not know about the plan or why else would she tell the others to expect a bang at TC?. Also someone asked him about it when they got back from
TC. They may have gone overboard but Bob should not have scolded them like that when there was no other purpose in giving Randy the fake idol other than to
embarrass him and laugh at him and he knew it. Why is Kenny or Crystal evil if Bob is not? What he did is worse than anything they did, imo.

Corrine even said that Crystal wasn't even that bad, that she was very soft spoken at camp. I think she just got a bad rap from Randy and Matty as being a
bully.

Or by the time Corinne and Crystal interacted Crystal's frame of mind was much better.

Bob should not have scolded them like that when there was no other purpose in giving Randy the fake idol other than to embarrass him and laugh at him and he knew it. The purpose was twofold: 1) Sugar promised Bob that they wouldn't vote for him if he could get Randy to play the idol. (also confirmed by a Corinne interview, btw) 2) Randy had to think it was real so he could ass it up and draw the votes to him. It was not to embarrass Randy - it was to stay in the game for three more days. And Bob scolding Sugar like that was right on point, IMO. Rolling on the ground laughing at TC is tactless and rude. If Bob had been in it to embarrass Randy, he wouldn't have said anything about her behavior. If you want to hate on Bob, whatever - you are entitled. But I think he is the only true good guy out there. That's all I have to say about it. |

Corrine said all of them went up to Bob and told him to give the idol to Randy, not just Sugar so you can't believe anything Corrine said especially when
the episode did not back her up. They would have shown us this or at least showed him telling Corrine this the next episode to make Bob look better. Randy
already acted up before Bob gave him the idol. Bob was at EI. The others knew nothing about it. He gave the idol knowing it was just to embarrass Randy and for
a laugh. They also did not show us Sugar rolling on the ground laughing so there is nothing to really back up Bob being so mad. He jsut felt guilty after and
took it out on the others. I don't hate Bob at all and never even hinted anywhere that I did. He gave Randy the idol knowing Sugar wanted to embarrass him
and laugh at him. I am just asking why is he not considered evil like the others when what he did was worse than anything C/K ever did? That's all.

urrout wrote:To play devil's advocate: The editors may not have shown everyone going up to Bob except Sugar because the editing wanted this only on Sugar; I don't think it had anything to do with making Bob look better; it seems like it was more about Sugar, not Bob nor anyone else. Bob did know this was solely about embarrassing Randy; he as much said so in the confessional that he would let Sugar have her way to get back at Randy (paraphrasing) so again all on Sugar They didn't show her rolling around laughing no but again I would say the majority of the reaction came from Sugar. With that said, they also showed Bob not looking especially happy with the reaction so I personally do think they did back up Bob with the look on his face not to mention this last episode he was very angry - he was even shown stating, he went along but the over the top reaction was not necessary and that made him angry. I would say this is more about intent. Sugar's intent was solely to humiliate Randy Bob (being vulnerable as the numbers showed) was saving himself. He conceded in giving Sugar "her way" (even stated by Bob) because he was saving himself. "Evil" and "Good" are not black and white - intent behind the deed has a lot of bearing. Can you really say the intent to do that to Randy was the same for Sugar as it was for Bob? |

Bob did preface his rebuke of Sugar with "I'm over it now". Which he didn't have to say. So maybe he really is over it, it's not going to
affect his dealings with Sugar going forward. And/or, maybe we the viewers are supposed to be over it now, too. It's not going to prevent Sugar from being
"good" (=in the finals).

Bob would have been stupid if he didn't say he was over it
Him going on about it would not have helped him at all. |
