Please? Pretty please? What's it like living there? Does it rain all the time? Whidbey Island? Anyone...?

Good place to watch sports. Not Seattle teams, mind you...just sports in general.

From the Onion today. Only it says Portland and not Seattle, but same thing.....
Moving To New City To Solve All Of Area Man's Problems December 5, 2008 | Issue 44•49 ATLANTA-All of area resident Brian Shepard's problems, including his fear of commitment, lack of personal direction, and inability to learn from past failures, will be instantly solved this week when the 29-year-old packs up his belongings and moves to a new city. "Moving to Portland is going to make all the difference in the world," said Shepard, who, just by putting 2,500 miles distance between himself and years of destructive behavior, will suddenly turn his life around. "It won't be anything like Chicago, or Boston, or San Francisco. This is exactly what I need right now." Shepard also plans to completely eliminate his dependence on self-denial by ignoring his dependence on self-denial. |

It doesn't rain all that much. Mostly it's a really heavy mist thing going on with some wind storms and heavier rain from October until June. Lately
we've been having better weather.. nicer Summers.. less rain, but this Fall/Winter has been pretty wet. I love living here. We get moderate temperatures,
Fall colors, occasional snow and gorgeous Summers.
There is a lot to do here. Tons of great restaurants, theater, concerts, live shows, sports I've been to Whidbey but I don't know anyone that lives there.. so no info there. |

I hear there are a lot of gays. This makes me happy. If I hear one more person say..."It's not Hawaii..." I will have to start breaking things.
Don't do it!

Seattle is very nice. Not too hot and not too cold. It actually rains more in Portland (OR) and Boston (MA) (for example) than in Seattle. The nature is quite
spectacular. Plenty of museums and good music. The main drawback is that it's a small city and that's it's far from any other major city.
