I need a life

I loved his curls, especially when some of them were highlighted with a bit of blonde. I was totally rooting for him to win over that homely little dumpy girl.

It seems that, according to People Mag's front page, the best known Idols are: Justin, Carrie, Kelly, Fantasia, Jennifer, Daughtry, and William Hung. LOL. Gotta love that. :)

The one page blurb reads: Idol's first teen idol has trimmed his trademark curls [say it ain't so!] but only increased his strength. Most notably, he landed on Broadway playing Patti LuPone's son in Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown in 2010 and a year later, starred in American Idiot. Next up the world premiere, in Atlanta, of the Great Brothers of Darkland County, a musical with book by Stephen King, songs by John Mellencamp. "It's so crazy and awesome, I cant' even begin to tell you," says Guarini, 33. A father of two, living in Doylestown PA, he realizes he owns a lot to Idol: "I look at it as the catalyst for everything I've done since and everything I will do in the future. It's wonderful." ♥

No need to wonder where Clay is now because he is all over the media, here and abroad, and in multiple roles. No doubt he will have magazine covers galore whether he wins or not.

Actor and singer Justin Guarini will present his new solo show From Idol to Broadway, June 2 at 9:30pm at Joe's Pub. Musical director will be Jeremy Yaddaw. From Idol to Broadway follows Guarini's journey from the days before American Idol to his first show on Broadway with a blend of stories and popular songs. American Idol season one runner up, Guarini has participated in the national Idols Live! tour, completed two studio albums, and starred in the films From Justin to Kelly and Fast Girl. Muny Chicago to Feature Patti Murin, Natascia Diaz, Justin Guarini, Jackie Hoffman, Patti Cohenour

Principal casting has been announced for the St. Louis Muny's upcoming production of the award-winning John Kander and Fred Ebb musical Chicago.

Directed and choreographed by Denis Jones, the musical will play the famed outdoor venue June 25-July 1.
The cast will be headed by Patti Murin and Natascia Diaz as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, respectively. They will be joined by Justin Guarini as Billy Flynn, Jackie Hoffman as Mama Morton, Patti Cohenour as Mary Sunshine and Dean Christopher as Amos Hart.
Based on the play by the same name, Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

The upcoming production will feature scenic design by Sam and Steve Gilliam, sound design by Jason Krueger, lighting design by Seth Jackson and costume design by Andrea Lauer. Charlie Alterman serves as the musical director, and the production stage manager is Harold Goldfaden.
The "direction and choreography, along with the scenic design, is specifically created to fit the unique scope of the Muny stage and audience," according to press notes.

DOYLESTOWN — Central Bucks East High School students and alumni gathered at Central Bucks West High School on Saturday night for a surprise musical tribute to long-time CB East choir director E. Scott Teschner.

Teschner has worked for Central Bucks for 35 years and spent the past 25 years at CB East.

"American Idol" alumnus and Broadway performer Justin Guarini was among the alumni who sang good-bye to Teschner. He said, "Scott played a significant role in my music education at Central Bucks East. His encouragement for me to follow my passion for music helped pave the way for my career and success in the music industry today."

CB East Principal Abe Lucabaugh said earlier this spring that Teschner has done more than teach students how to use their voices.

"He has taught them to find their own voices. His career is worthy of emulation, a professional life well-lived," Lucabaugh said.

I love how everyone in the audience when "whoa!" when he hit that note. lol. At that moment, I thought, see, that's why he's a pro. But I have to say that Mike Leach's part near the end was pretty sweet too.

That is a super nice video. Love it. Justin is just a really really really nice guy. That was nice of him to go back and honor the man who taught him so much. <3

Only just today found out that you graciously posted a link on your website to that SVO article I did on you back in 2010 for http://www.SunValleyOnline.com Thanks so much for doing that!! It's a verrrry radiant testament to just HOW extremely talented a musician and singer you are that we DID brave those almost-freezing temperatures at the Sun Valley Pavilion that last week in June here to watch your entire concert (since you went on LAST that Friday night). Hope you're having a terrific 2012 so far, mister... :)
