Do they randomly put any faces in any order, or do they have a procedure depending on the edgic? Also, in the promo at the end before they put up that screenshot of the five faces, they introduce the five players left in the game and guess who they introduce first? Yep it was Kenny. Was that a coincidence? or another red herring?

Yes but the character development and recognition all depends on the editing in the first place. The editing made Kenny more recognizable to viewers, not the other way around.
