Cartoon Network's debut of the finale of the animated reality series Total Drama Island on Thursday, December 11 at 9p, as part of the Har Har Tharsdays block (7-10p), set a new record becoming the top telecast among Tweens 9-14(1,559,000) for the network ever, and the most watched show among K6-11(1,592,000) since September 8, 2000 (Premiere Premiere, 9p). The show was the top program of the day across all TV among K2-11 (1,968,000), K6-11 and Tweens 9-14, as well as being the top telecast ever for the network among Girl Tweens 9-14. A second season of Total Drama Island, entitled Total Drama
Action premieres on Cartoon Network in late spring 2009.

I downloaded all of TDI onto my computer and am watching now. This show is AMAZING.

I think one of the reasons the bland/nice people are on the show is because of the showmances and it's freaking kids people. Of course they're going to have Geoff, Bridgette, DJ, and Owen on the show again. Heather/Leshawna/Harold/Lindsay F4! |

'Kay, just watched the special leading up to TDA, and I've gotta say, it was awesome! So many fantastic parts to it:
Izzy changing her name to Kaleidoscope, A.K.A., Escope <3333 Justin emerging as the superficial asshole <3333 Heather being pelted by beavers <3333 Courtney going completely bonkers because of Duncan <3333 Leshawna knocking Chef out with a stick <3333 Lindsay's cluelessness and Beth's leadership <3333 Bridgette nearly killing Geoff dozens of times <3333 Aw, good times. They need to replay that episode again and again. |

In the trailer Beth, Justin, Gwen, and Trent are all shown receiving an oscar statue, therefore none of them are the first boot ^_^
And the bootees appear to be sent away in a limousine. |
