Look at some of the contestants that are still to come, and their rank in CR's poll: JFP S7 (152nd), RobM S8 (134th), Sean S4 (126th), Shane (99th). Then we have contestants like Judd (207th to 59th) and Randy (179th to 93rd). There is a trend.

Thank god there not that low.... as much as people hate Fairplay he was great in S7, and I loved Sean and Shane in both there seasons and also liked Judd and Randy... so I'm glad there voted much higher this time.

After Micronesia with a complete lack of character development and a cast filled with idiotic gamebots, Gabon brought the show back to its Borneo roots in a large part due to Sugar. By eliminating the "bad people" she made it so that the season had real characters and focused on the people, rather than the strategy for once.

But I know she was nothing in Micronesia compared to her performance in Vanuatu, but had Cirie decided to go all the way with Ami and Eliza since they offered her it, Ami would have won (in my dreams)... However, Cirie dominated and I recognize it, she had everything to win in Micronesia and decided to place herself with the alliance she would have not only a better chance of win it but also an easily way to control the decisions...

We must have gotten a different version up here in Canada. So you think the S16 cast was idiotic and you prefer an F3 of strategic players like Bob, Susie and Sugar? It's a specious argument to complain about lack of character development in S16 because half the cast was returnees and they dominated the end-game (it would be like complaining about lack of character development on ASS).
