For the one before that, I have to say that my opinion of Ami totally changed after seeing her in Micronesia. She was like the post-All Stars Jerri in that she got the villain edit the first time, and sort of a sweetheart edit the next time

Up until that point, I didn't like her that much because she'd been in the Mall Rat group, but then I saw her as a separate individual and she became rather endearing

And I was digging the game play by everyone in Africa -thought Powers might be a genuis, and Kim J and Ethan's plan of throwing the challenge. Teresa's bluff to Lex. And Brandon's duping of Lex that Kelly supplied the vote. Thought we were watching some really great players -but I thought too soon- when post merge everyone seemed like they had labotomies.

Which is why everyone loved her throughout the season, right? Oh wait, no, they didn't, she had to win them over. You may not like her, but she was a decent character in Africa and hardly superfluous ... being cute and not a bitch isn't enough to beat out postitive characters like Teresa, Tom, etc.
