How can you hate first person games? They're like, the best game because you're seeing everything from the character's perspective.

But considering I like to use magic/fighting, and most FPS are just gun firing... they end up being games I loathe. I do have games that feature gunplay in my list but they are not FPS (although one can become one)

39 Jubei: Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (PS2)

Why do I have this guy on here anymore? It's been so long since I put this list together I don't even remember. The Onimusha games are pretty strong (haven't played 5 yet though) and I'm sure people consider this one the weakest (at least compared to 1 and 3) but I enjoyed the gift giving, the new types of weapons, and the random being able to play as other people at random moments story line thing.

38: Wakka: Final Fantasy X (PS2)

Wakka is by far the most random character to show up in FFX. Like every other person makes sense. Rikku's the theft, Kamari is the furry, Auron is the big sword guy, Tidus is the main character, Lulu is the witch bitch, and Yuna's the staff chick. Wakka? Throws a fucking blitzball. He's in here for pure lolz cuz he is by far one of the weakest people there (after that one battle when his long reaching attack is useful and the damn water fights, he never comes out to fight afterwards) and yet has one of the most fleshed out backstorys in the game and he gets to bang Lulu. He's on here because while his attack sucks ass, his plot is very engaging. Plus he gets Lulu. And he's a minority, come on that bitch is Hawaiian.


37: Gas-O: Bust A Groove 1 (PSX)

Gas-O like all the other Bust a Groovers doesn't get much except for their dancing, backstories (which you only get in the manuals) and if they appear in the sequel, the sequel's backstory. The whole point of the game is to dance and win the Groove-a-tron which gives you... something. It's so vague and most of the endings make no sense too. But his stage is cool, his attack is cool, and in the sequel he apparently MURDERS HIS DAD AND LEAVES THE AXE IN HIS HEAD. Which asmuses me enough to get him on the list.








I know people are going to hate my guts for this but....


































36: Quina: Final Fantasy IX (PSX)

S/he is so awesome you'd think s/he'd be F10 at least right? Final 3? Winner? Well Quina's fairly awesome what with being a genderless and EATING PEOPLE. Her story just didn't give me enough to put her higher than 37. She is still the best character of FFIX if not one of the best FFs evah.


35: Samanosuke Akechi: Onimusha 1/3 (PS2)

I believe Onimusha is one of the first hack and slashers that I didn't expect to like and then really liked and beat in 3 days. He's given an insane variety of magical and physical weapons and in the third game you can get his original weapons after beating the game the first time and end up with an even more insane variety of weapons. Is there anything else this could have? The ability to jump. I love the ability to jump. GIVE IT BACK TO ME.

34: Samantha: Hunter: The Reckoning (XBOX)

Yes, yes. I'll say it. She's here cuz she's black. She also has a magnum with unlimited bullets, a katana, and the ability to heal right off the bat. You don't fuck with her. <3 Samantha

33: Kitana: Mortal Kombat 2 (Various)

Kitana was one of the new characters introduced in MK2 and she hasn't left since. She's my back up when my first pick is taken. I don't own many of the MKs which is why Sindel won't be on this list (MK3 kinda sucked anyway). I would spam her fans like CRAZY plus her fatality where she chops off the other person's head was the only one I could ever do. Oh and she's like one of the good guys.

32: Capoeria : Bust a Groove 1/2 (PSX)

Capoeria are two aliens who want to win so they can leave the earth. They're the only two people that dance together and in BAG2 if the other player is playing Capoeria and you're both doing well they'll randomly switch partners. You dance on their space ship and if you do well enough the windows(display screens?) will open you'll see the moon and the Earth, do okay and you'll see the Earth.

31: Jacque : Onimusha 3 (PSX)

Oh yes, I did just put Jacque over Samanosuke. It's not fair but Jean Reno is MADE OF WIN. That ALONE is enough to have him beat Samanosuke. He also has a bitchin' whip and his game is set in France and lets me visit all the places I learned about in The DaVinci Code Art class.


30 Tie : Mint : Threads of Fate (PSX)

PUMPKINS. Mint is the bitchy princess of Threads of Fate who got passed over the throne for being a massive bitch. She also hates pumpkins so they will randomly show up and she'll run screaming out of the room. She is extremely hilarious and pretty much bitches during every task she has to do. She also wields two magic rings that she can whap people with or cast spells. I'd say her version of ToF is a lot harder but more fun to play. PUMPKINS.

30 Tie : Rue : Threads of Fate (PSX)

Why is Rue higher than Mint when she's a pumpkin thumping G.oddess? Because his story is stronger. For those who have never played (which is a lot) Rue is trying to find the Threads of Fate to find out about his past and his dead guardian. Mint just wants power. Plus he has the ability to turn into whatever monster he defeats. Only problem is that you can only have 4 forms at a time and if you pick up a fifth, it takes the spot of the oldest one.

Wakka is a god. I've played through FFX about 3 times in my life, and I always put him in my party the whole game. Is he really that bad?

I dunno for me I just have no use for him outside of water.

I usually use Yuna since she's the healer (with Rikku subbing in to throw potions while stealing), Lulu's the black mage, and Auron is the hard hitter or the HP shield (Tidus subbing in to cast haste)... leaving Kimari and Wakka barely used.

Sindel: Mortal Kombat

I'd love to rank Sindel. She's a screeching undead bitch with crazy hair (just like Syesha <3 <3 <3 <3) but I simply don't own any of the games she's in so I never got a chance to play her past a few days of Blockbuster rentals.

JADE: Mortal Kombat

Same as above, Jade is playable in games I do not own. But she's a crazy fast fighter in MK2 who I could never beat and her name is JADE. People named Jade > People not named Jade.

ASRAH: Mortal Kombat

Same as the other two, I only got to play as Asrah a bit but she was a great character. When I first saw her picture I think like most people I thought she'd be the female Raiden but she ended up being a demon who wanted to GTFO out of there and started fighting evil. Plus like the person who's ranking MK people said, she's the only female not to dress as a whore. Even Sindel who's been dead for years came back and is half naked.

23 Jean Gray: X-MEN Legends 1/2 (PS2)

Phoenix is like the most powerful mutant EVER and every time she dies she just comes back. But in games, they have to limit her powers which limits how awesome she is. In Xmen Legends she has her telekinesis to grab/throw people/objects everywhere (which I love doing) and creating shields so people can't touch you. But she's more awesome in XML2 when she can use her telekinesis to grab/throw people/objects, throw psychic beams, and create a shield to get people to get the fuck away from here.

22 Shang Tsung: Mortal Kombat 2 (Genesis)

In MK1, Shang Tsung was the enemy (which I never played) but when we got MK2 he was knocked down from power and was pissed as Hell and became playable. I'm pretty much specifically refering to this version because he had the ability to turn into anybody from the game and I would use him to get around the "Okay Will you are no longer allowed to play as Kitana or Mileena anymore" rules my family would randomly enact. His fireball techniques are pretty good but really he has the entire game's arsenal with his morphing ability. With the shift to 3D, he got less cool.

21 Sora: Kingdom Hearts 1/2 (PS2)

I wasn't sure if I'd like Kingdom Hearts since Disney games usually suck but once I found out Square was working on it, it had a much greater chance to be awesome. And it was. who knew that FF + Disney could actually work together and make a great story? Plus it's a hack and slash as opposed to turn based which is always more awesome combat. Sora has pretty much all the standard FF magic, interesting new combos (and the ability to glide) as well as being able to summon up Disney characters (and almost a FF one) to fight for you. Although with the exception of Genie or Simba the others aren't as worth it. Also in KH2 you get the GREATEST SUMMON EVER: Stitch. <3 <3 <3

20 Galen Marek: Star Wars The Force Unleashed (XBOX360)

I actually played (and beat) this game between the break between starting and restarting this list. Galen is yet another mysterious orphan who turns out to have wicked awesome powers and is corrupted only to turn to good. Predictable story but Sam Witwer manages to really breathe life into the character and make it somebody you want to like (at least once he turns before then he could go out the nearest airlock). Because he was trained in the Dark Side he has Force lightning (which doesn't go away when he switches) to go with his lightsaber skills and the 15 or so costumes you can use. Despite the fact the game is fairly short the character is interesting enough to play the game a few times. (Plus to unlock the awesome dark side costume)

19 Gideon: Advent Rising (XBOX)

Oh look another random character nobody will know from a game many didn't play. Let me catch you up on Advent Rising. It was a game about aliens showing up to warn humans about MORE aliens showing up. Then the bad ones show up and all hell breaks lose. Why I liked it was because it turns out Gideon was the chosen one or something so he had alien powers as well as being able to pick up various energy weapons. These options (oh and you can switch to first person if you so chose) really make the game fun to play.

The only problem with the game was that it had a contest to win 1000 dollars or something so many people bought the game simply to win the money and after the contest had to be called off because of accidental time fuck ups (Like they released extra contact at the same time all around the world even though it should be at same numeral time not at the specific moment, something like that) a lot of people ended up hating the game. It also didn't help that it had a few bugs (which never affected the game for me) and Majestic (the awesome company who made the game, they have another game that shows up soon) was suffering through some problems so they weren't able to fix the game and had to cancel other games.

18 Nariko: Heavenly Sword (PS3)

Heavenly Sword is a great game but insanely short starring the chick from Fringe taking destiny into her own hands. Apparently her clan guards the Heavenly Sword which can only be used by the chosen man (otherwise the person is doomed to die within a few days) born during a certain time. Well when that time came, Nariko was born and her mom died promptly short circuiting the destiny and preventing it from happening. Since she didn't have a penis, a lot of her clan hates her and her dad almost killed her. Her clan is attacked by Gollum from LOTR and finally she goes "Fuck this" and whips out the sword and starts kicking ass. It comes with three forms of attack (normal, heavy but slow, fast but weak) and Nariko's got some great lines. Nariko: Thats why he made you into a slit-mouthed freak?!? / Whiptail: What!?! /Nariko: Oh, its so much better when you're angry!

Of course the game has issues, such as the sidekick bitch that makes me want to jump through a window than deal with her mini quests. While Nariko has the awesome sword, Nariko just has a fucking bow and arrow and can't defend herself very well. If anybody gets close you've got to run or stun them to run away.

17 Sheva: Resident Evil 5 (PS3)

Sheva is the black main character of Resident Evil 5. Why do I say that? Basically because as soon as the first promo of RE5 came out showing Chris shooting black people, she was pretty much leaked just so people wouldn't see the game as racist. Apparently her AI version sucks complete and utter ass but since I was playing as her I never noticed. She's faster than Chris and has access to a few moves he can't use and can unlock a bow and arrow that only she can use. For being thrown into a RE game with very little time to compensate she manages to live til the end.

She also has a 70s Clubbin' Costume and a Tribal Costume which makes her > Chris.

16 Sieg: Chaos Legion (PS2)

Never heard of it? I don't really expect you to. Here's the summary of the game from wikipedia:

As a Knight of the Dark Glyphs, Sieg is able to sacrifice lost souls in order to summon creatures called Chaos Legion from alternate worlds. When Victor Delacroix steals the forbidden Apocrypha of Yzarc, Sieg must track his former friend down and use his Legions to put a stop to his actions.

Basically the Legions are crazy looking monsters (usually more than one depending on how you've upgraded them) that you have to find and use while going through the series. Sieg also has a sword which works when you've overwhelmed and have your monsters running around killing shit while you hide. There's also a sub character who only uses guns and pretty much sucks. So I never unlocked her .
