OK, not really a part of this show but i was heartbroken when I saw this video.
A kitty with a drinking problem. One she feels she must hide (if you witness her constant looking about to ensure that no one sees her.) I hope she gets the help she needs. |

The thing is...
The reason I don't believe addicts is... They are always so aware of every fucking slight ever bestowed upon them. Every fucking infraction, every dismissal, every badness... These become the reasons for their addiction. Their purpose for being an addict. Their purpose for life. They call up memories from some foggy past. Wanting the rest of us to feel so bad for them and their lives. Wanting the rest of us to comfort them and take care of them. They were so affronted in life. Boo fucking hoo, addicts. What you went through? Your particular sadness in life? Its exactly what the majority of the rest of us went through. Except the rest of us didn't collapse into your hell of drugs. The rest of us didn't give the fuck up and become a burden to society and your families as you did. The rest of us just went out and got educations. Got Jobs. Made something of ourselves. Paid the taxes that are supporting your sorry asses. You had it tough? Boo hoo. So did the rest of us. Fuck You... . |

Some of them actually go through things that not everyone has been through. A bunch of the episodes I've seen, seem to have people who were molested when
they were younger. There was one girl whose sister was raped and killed.
But yeah, the ones that are like that because they were stupid and wanted a pity party, I have no sympathy for. |

I finally caught up on all of these during my weekend with no internet! It was awesome. Those two heroin addict/dealing brother were insane. I felt like shit
for the older brother. Ugh. That was bullshit. I felt so bad for him the most.
I was happy the huffer nut got better! I always hope at the end of the episodes that they will make it and get clean, so when they do it makes me so happy
for most of them.

Some addicts are addicts because they were BORN that way. No excuses, no blaming their parents, etc. Just curious where your hatred for drug addicts comes from. Not that I really care. |

I love Allison. She's my favourite addict. There was an earlier follow-up video on the A&E where she said she had no brain damage or long term effects from huffing all that duster. I think she's been the only inhalant addict they've had on there. I wish they would get more huffers like her on the show. |

does anyone know the schedule for new episodes? we got a few (very few) then had a follow up show and a military special, then the sober companion show, and
now reruns coming back... is this show finally ending because addicts have figured out they're on Intervention by now?

Intervention has never run new episodes on the network TV schedule. New episodes of Intervention were being shown over the summer when the other networks were
on haitus. I don't know of any taped show that runs new episodes 52 weeks/year.
