It's the Christian Scientists who don't like any kind of medical care. Lisa Marie is right that if a Scientologist needs a medication, they get it.
Unless it's a psychoactive drug like an anti-depressant. You can take them, but if you're on the track to the higher OT levels, you're told often
and emphatically that taking them will prevent you from becoming clear. That's like telling an Evangelical that taking asprin will send them to Hell and
prevent them from being taken home in the rapture or sumfin.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever know the full truth about Jett. sad |

Hmm, could be interesting that the P.A. himself clearly states that Scientologists believe in seeking medical help for physical illnesses. Or maybe
not.

Wasn't Lisa Marie married to Michael Jackson? Yeah. She's completely normal.

"They say, 'Get your physical, get your medication, get your physical illnesses handled.'"Except your post natal depression medication. You can't be treated with medication for that, apparently. Scientologists are so full of bullshit, not to mention contradictions. I feel sorry for John Travolta - Scientologist or not, he was a nice guy. Tom Cruise, on the other hand, is a total psycho fuckwit. Someone take him to the Bahamas. |

NASSAU, Bahamas - Authorities in the Bahamas have detained an island lawmaker and a paramedic in an alleged plot to extort money from actor John Travolta after
the death of his son, police said Friday.
One of the suspects, ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne, was detained on Friday. Earlier, several tabloids quoted him describing efforts to revive the celebrity's chronically ill son, Jett, who died of a seizure this month at their family vacation home on Grand Bahama. Authorities did not reveal what the alleged extortion involved. Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston returned home to Florida with the ashes of their 16-year-old son, and Travolta's publicist Paul Bloch said Friday he has no comment. Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater, an attorney from Grand Bahama, has been held for questioning since Thursday, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Marvin Dames told The Associated Press. Dames said Lightbourne was detained after police issued an alert that he was wanted for attempted extortion, was "considered dangerous and should be approached with caution." |

Are Scientologists Threatening to Out John Travolta if He Leaves? The Daily Mail reports that John Travolta has been in a state of crisis since the death of his son Jett:
According to the paper, Travolta's faith in Scientology has been broken by Jett's death and the religion's inability to help his son, but the cult is threatening to expose him if he tries to kiss it good-bye: "But if rumours buzzing around Hollywood this week are to be believed, it's not just the death of his beloved son that has been torturing Travolta of late. His distress, say sources close to him, has been compounded by the first cracks in his 34-year relationship with the Church of Scientology, the cult-like religion of which Travolta is a prominent and generous benefactor. And there are dark mutterings that if he carries out private threats to leave, the organisation will go public with embarrassing details of his private life, including, it is claimed, allegations of past homosexual relationships." |

Poor guy. I'm sure he is having a crisis of faith. I hope he doesn't go for a joyride in his 707 any time soon. |

I don't blame him if he is willing to leave that cult.
