is anyone going to get around to changing Susan & Patrick's photo as well as Ray & Deana's?
I so look forward to seeing what great pic is going to replace each team as they get eliminated... |

i know this idea probably would've been better a lot earlier, but is there any way for there to be a "Romber Discussion Thread" that covers pretty much everything they do? The spread of Romber Hate/Love into every.fucking.thread is getting to be unbearable, and maybe something like that could prevent it from happening more.
(either that, or ban everyone who hijacks a thread to make it about romber) |

We tried that weeks ago, Bilkis. Although the idea is the right one, the amount of threads that crop up as replacements makes it an enormous task to keep locking this stuff when more will spring up immediately. Banning posters for starting these threads will not really solve anything, because as we have seen, most Romber fans are young kids who will just rejoin the board with a new nic and continue to feed their hobby.
We only have a week to go. Once the finale is over we can breath a collective sigh of relief - until, that is, they cast another set of media whores for the next race! |

The poor TAR Media Thread which has been stickied forvever - no one uses it and makes new threads for each interview / early show appearance etc.
So either that thread should be unstickied, or all other interview threads locked up to encourage us posting in that thread (IMO its much better to have a seperate discussion thread for each different media article, so just let the media thread die already). |

Next season, if people start a new thread for every interview it will be locked. They should go in the media thread. If the same poster starts another thread after the first was locked, they will be put on posting restrictions.
If I see another Frageelee thread I will lock and restrict the poster. Same goes for any new Romber wedding threads. This place is going to be clean in advance of the next season. We do not want this to turn into another LTS-type fanwank forum for pre-teens. People shuold read other threads from at least the first 3 pages of this forum before starting new threads. |

Why not make a stickied thread that says "Interviews"?
I think the word "media" goes right by a lot of posters. I know I've tried posting articles in the media area and folks just copy and paste them into a new topic down below. |
