Oh, so this is why BSB is trending on Twitter.

During their livestreaming pay-per-view concert taking place at the O2 arena in London, the Backstreet Boys announced that former bandmember Kevin Richardson will be re-joining the group PERMANENTLY!

SHC just passed out along with every other BSB superfan.

I love, absolutely love, how so many things I grew up with are new again.

The Battle of the Bands is a giant fail with both N*Sync and BSB out in the first round. Stupid pairings.

Kevin left temporarily about 6 years ago, after their Never Gone album was released. They've done 2 albums and tours without him. He always said he'd like to come back for another album and now he's back. Its exciting.

Apparently AJ and his girlfriend/wife are also expecting a baby so congrats on that.

Kevin, to me, always had the best voice. Its so gorgeous. "Never Gone," the song is one of the most beautiful songs to me. Its about the death of Kevin's father and his vocal on it is phenomenal. I highly recommend a listen to that one on Youtube.

i listened to the song it's ok just sentimental but nothing i'd listen to over and over again

i was never into bsb that much although i liked some songs. i preferred n sync

Ah Canadian Idol, after I saw Melissa O'Neill on the street recently I got nostalgic for it and went back and watched some old episodes. I never get tired of watching Cher finally showing them that she can sing.

About that battle of the boybands thing...

One Direction didn't win. Westlife did. They slayed all the big guns. BSB, O-Town, Beatles, The Wanted, and the JoBros in the finals.

1D actually lost to Mindless Behavior in the third round. Who the fuck are they?

And now I just found out Westlife are to breakup this year. Frown

Thought you guys were rid of me? Well, I'm baaaaaaaccckkk!!!!!

And yeah, I admit it is with some Theo news, but at the same time, I was just reading over posts from the last little while and wanted to comment.

Miki, I hope you have an awesome time seeing Kelly at the Molson Ampitheatre. Last show I saw there was (don't laugh!!!) NKOTB. We decided to get $10 lawn seats for that one. I also saw Roch Voisine there (with Jann Arden), and one great thing about his show was that he let fans from all sections come down to the stage, take a few pix, and then head back to their seats. I know most acts can't do that for security reasons (ie. younger fans would pile up in front of stage and stay planted there), but it was cool that all fans had a chance to see him up close, even if only for a short time. One thing I don't like about the Ampitheatre is that they make you exit by one set of doors only, and it can takes ages to get out of the place after a concert. Anyway, Miki, I'm sure you will love Kelly's show. Any clue yet who will be opening for her?

As for never spending more than $100 for a concert ticket, that is getting harder and harder to do. The most I ever spent for a ticket was $220 and that was for George Michael at the ACC. It was actually kind of sprung on me, though. My friend got the "Front of the Line" tickets when they went on sale, and I didn't know how much it would be (I figured maybe $150?) until she called me up and said "By the way, you owe me $220!" EEK!! But you know what? It was worth every single penny as he put on an amazing show and sounded fantastic! Especially loved "A Different Corner", and the crowd that night was LOUD!

And so on to the Theo news...

Beyond The Mountain has started playing dates in and around Toronto. The first few they played were private events, so I still haven't had a chance to see them perform live, but they have some public dates coming up in June including performing at the OPS Pride Gala on June 14. They've also been invited to perform at the Annual General Meeting of the Songwriters Association of Canada on June 4th, but again, that one is a private event. But Theo is back performing again, so hopefully I will be able to link you guys to some new video before the end of summer.

Sounds good.

Dwiebe the Kelly concert is a co-headlining tour with The Fray. So no opening act, just equal sets and she may go first, she may go second depending on the date.

250 is too much money for me to spend to see someone live. I couldn't justify it even if I really liked the artist. But I've heard of people spending like 400-500+ on a ticket so it's not uncommon for it to happen. Glad you said it was worth the money, it would suck if you paid that and it was shit.

I'm glad Theo is doing gigs again. I'm looking forward to Beyond the Mountain and seeing how their c.d. will be. Keep us updated when you can. :)

Big Brother is coming to Canada. I thought Smartguy would like to read this. You always wanted to go on Big Brother and now you can. :)

The only doubt I have about it is that it is on Slice. I get Slice but I'm not sure how many Canadians actually have Slice as part of their t.v. package. I'm sure the ratings won't be amazing or anything being on cable.

It's going to be like the U.S. version. Slice did a good job at doing the Real Housewives of Vancouver, let's see if they can pull off BB Canada.

I'm kinda excited. I already watch the U.S., U.K. and OZ versions so now I'll have Canada to the mix.

Depends who your provider is, Rogers and Bell make it part of cable packages. If you are in other parts of Canada, Slice might be available on basic depending on the provider in those areas.

I would actually trade it all for Canadian Idol to come back. I'd rather have CI than any other reality show.

I will watch the Bachelor Canada because I do watch Bachelor/ette US off an on (I'm watching the current season of the Bachelorette) and I am a mega huge BB fan so I'm definitely going to watch BB Canada.

I hope Smartguy applies for BB.

Based on the kind of people who go on BB usually they'd probably vote out SG first because he's so smart, and likes to talk about actual shit. They'd find him boring/threatening and boot him.
