This show is all sorts of wicked cool awesome; I'm downloading all the Season 1-4 episodes to watch, though it's unlikely I can finish catching up before the Season 5 premiere on 8th Jan!
Basically in each episode, our merry band of tricksters go around setting up cons. Their only rule is: Never try
to swindle an honest man, because an honest man can never be swindled. So part of the comedy of course comes from seeing the wicked or the amoral getting their
comeuppance when they are cheated of their cash. Of course, it's not just about money and each of these characters have deep or interesting backstories,
and sometimes the con is also used as a way to exact rightful revenge. They're all very charming, and you'd probably adore them if they were RL
friends. They first group together under the pretext that it would be Mickey's last con and last hurrah (he was previously imprisoned for reasons entirely
unrelated to cons). Part of the fun is also seeing the genius behind their plans at the end of each episode and how they have the backup plans to get out of
seemingly impossible situations.
The show airs on AMC in the USA, and CBC in Canada.
The motley crew:
Michael Stone, or "Mickey Bricks" (Adrian Lester), the charismatic brains of the group.
Albert Stroller (Robert Vaughn), the charming ex-shoe salesman who often poses as an esteemed professional to seek out good 'marks' or con targets.
Ash Morgan (Robert Glenister, yes The Philip Glenister's brother), the logistics man on the ground.
Stacie Monroe (Jaime Murray, aka pyromaniac Lila in Dexter), the sexy vixen who mainly plays the role of the 'bait'.
Danny Blue (Marc Warren), the cocky, slightly scruffy short-con artist a bit short on brains, but with brilliant instincts and improvisation.

Mickey left for Sydney to embark on his greatest long con ever, to sell the Sydney Harbour Bridge.� Joining the crew was Billy
Bond (Ashley Walters), who was a street thug just like Danny initially was.

Mickey returns to the cast, but Danny, Stacie and I think Billy won't be present. Joining them are Matt Di Angelo as Sean,
and Kelly Adams as Emma.
