Our country has three branches of government - the Executive branch (the president), the Judicial branch (the courts) and the Legislative branch (the Congress). The Legislative branch is made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Senate has 100 members - two from each state. The House of Representatives has 435 members (that number is based on how many people live in each state). Minnesota is divided into eight congressional districts. Each district is represented by a Congressman or Congresswoman. My dad is running to be the Congressman from the Third Congressional District! Yeah Dad! My dad would be a great Congressman. He has a lot of experience helping people and working in business and government. He is really smart and a really hard worker. I think he even has more energy than my sisters and me! (But maybe not more than my mom!) How can kids help? I'll tell you: * Tell your friends and neighbors about my dad! * Wear a sticker! Put one on your notebooks! * Encourage people you know to get a sign! * Help hand out flyers door-to-door! * Write a letter to the newspaper telling people to vote for my dad! * Walk in a parade! ~ Cassie Paulsen THE CHILDREN PARADE TURNED THE TABLES FOR SURE

She deserves credit for taking out former and current fattie Phil English (who can only dream of one day getting stuck in the presidential bath tub like the forever glorious William Taft) when he somehow miraculously survived the Pennsylvania donkey revolution of 2006 when hoards (not really hoards, but whatevs) of Republicans lost seats to Democrats. Why did the wonderful gorilla-like lawyerbot Melissa Hart lose her seat then, yet fucktard Phil English didn't? Dahlkemper did the job right and knocked out English as soon as she could to make up for that incredible injustice. She's top 15 material, at least. Side note: Jason Altmire took over Melissa Hart's seat, but he's doing a great job and I shook his hand, so he's like, my favorite congressmen aside from Hank Johnson.
