In 2006 she ran against the glamorously corrupt hag Deborah Pryce, but lost due to incumbent power.



But Deborah retired this year so Mary Jo ran again and BARELY won in a typically Republican district =o

She's also gone through many m.orphs, and I look forward to following her hairstyles over the next 2+ years

18. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH)


omg why does she have blue molars?!

Anyway, without counting the Hillary replacement possibilities, Jeanne Shaheen (rhyming names <3) is one of two new female senators so she automatically gets my support for that. Unfortunately, both of them are tragically dull and in desperate need of Washington powerhag makeovers, but I still love them nonetheless. The coven of female US senators is a very exclusive club after all



Jeanne is actually kind of a pathetic dingbat from what I've seen of her, so that could be fun. I watched one of her debates with her archnemesis John Sununu (who stole the election from her in 2002 so she went for the rematch), and she just kind of stood there smiling and saying canned phrases about change. Meanwhile, Sununu desperately tried to salvage his career with epic speeches designed to amaze the New Hampshire public with his grasp of policy, and he even had a mini temper tantrum when Jeanne was given more time on one question because she started malfunctioning and butted in to finish a point she never really made. Even though the debate was clearly a pathetic display, it didn't matter for Jeanne because she was already dominating in the polls, which continued all the way to her 7 point victory. <3

To emphasize this point, Sununu went to Harvard and MIT, and Jeanne went to Shippensburg (???) and Ole Miss.

It's really a delight. btw I added Maf54 to my buddy list when this came out, but he hasn't signed on since.


This also came out just before an election, so Foley was replaced with some midcarder at the last minute who didn't even appear on the ballot. <3 Therefore, the Democratic challenger Tim Mahoney won by promising to RESTORE HONOR AND FAMILY VALUES to the seat.

Fast forward two years and Mahoney had his very own sex scandal emerge right before his first reelection day! Apparently he had paid something like $130,000 in hush money to one of his mistress staffers. Look at how cute they are!




Then she secretly recorded him yelling at her and saying he owned her soul or something. Then he admitted to having countless other mistresses ("certainly more than two" <3), so his political career was instantly dead as well.


Now Tom Rooney has emerged to take over the most scandalous seat in Congress. CAN HE BRING DIGNITY BACK TO FL-16?! I hope not. <3
