lolol phillies fans outnumbered padres fans last night and im not even joking. announced crowd was 17K but it was probably closer to 10 and there were at least 5000 phils fans there last night. the entire 3rd base line was all phils fans so bastardo got two standing ovationsu kinda feel bad for the real padres fans who have to deal with people taking over their stadium. although they got all they came for cause adrian gonzalez homered. i cant believe they shoot off fireworks after he hits a solo shot bringing the score to 8-1
game kinda felt like a minor league one, they let kids do all this stuff like announcing a batter. for one of the promotions this girl had to choose either from one of three hats or take a mystery box. she took a hat, then out popped the phillie phanatic. couldnt believe they allowed him there
also noticed that unlike at shitifield, they play replays of good things the phillies do

5k phillies fans, sig? If you said 1 or 2k, then I could believe it. Ibanez hit two hr's in that extreme pitcher's park? It's amazing how he signs with the Phillies and looks like Ted Williams. If he signed with the Mets, he'd be hitting .180 right now. Guaranteed. You know, if Roy Halladay pitched for any American team, he'd be more famous than Mount Rushmore. Halladay is the one pitcher who's on the same level as Johan. In fact, if someone wanted to make a case that he was better than Santana, they would certainly have a leg to stand on. As great as Johan is, he hasn't pitch nearly as many complete games as Halladay has in his career. |

go watch replays of the game, im telling you there were at least 5K there. it was unreal. felt like i was at cbp. there were lets go phillies chants. at one
point a guy in my section tried starting a lets go padres chant and he got so mad cause noone was chiming in

you were there so I guess I'll take your word for it. I've only seen a couple of hundred Phillies fans show up at shea/citi. Frankly, I never thought there were 5k phillies fans who actually lived outside of PA. lol |

i think more phillies fans will start showing up to citi cause its not selling out to mets fans as much as shea was. which is weird cause it has like 8000
fewer seats. there were a lot of phils fans in the cheap seats at citi when i went.
who knows, its cali so maybe half of the 5K were bandwagoners who jumped on when we won the series

btw there were at least two mets fans at the game - i was sitting next to two mets fans on the plane and they said they also had tickets for the game
one
was like put away your phils cap or ill have to take out my mets one. ended up playing them in scrabble and it should come as no surprise that they were really
bad cause mets fans inherently have to be dumb

considering his only good pitch last night was his fastball and he still almost got a shutout im curious to see how he does against good hitting teams. the
padres bottom three or four guys were all hitting below .200. if it werent for gonzalez and hairston that would be a single A lineup

A rookie pitcher beating a cy young award winner in his first ml start? you picked the perfect game to go too sig.
Since the Met game finished early, I turned on wgn to watch Cubs/Braves just in time to see Francoeur hit a game tying hr. Only thing that annoys me more than a Mets loss is watching the Braves celebrate. As soon as Heilman came in, without hesitation I changed the channel and said to myself "Cubs lost" Reyes has another setback? He had a slight pull in his hammy and its become a month long injury. Wow, I sure hope no one on the Pirates breathes on a Mets player or else he'll suffer another injury. The entire training staff should be fired. Mets can survive without Delgado but not without Reyes as well. I guess Omar is waiting until the Mets fall 10 games behind before he decides to make a trade. |

 he was such a liability for u guys. i guess ill have to get used to wilson valdez's errors and
horrendous hitting being one of the reasons u guys lose
