Detour:
Chavtastically Banal or Highfalutin Banal

In Chavtastically Banal, teams will make their way to the Middlesbrough Law Courts where they will find a list of offenders charged with Asbos, or antisocial behaviour orders:

stockpiling too much rubbish at home
watching TV late at night
regular drunk disturbance
loud motorbike races at night
assaulting little children
smashing other's windows
wearing hoodies
drug usage
indecent expisure
verbal abuse towards others
disturbing others by having too much sex
vandalism
throwing parties at home

Teams will be randomly given an offence and, together with a picture of an offender, write up at least 11 sentences on why a person was charged with a Asbo for that particular offence. They must include the following details:
- Age, sex, location of the offender
- Details for offence(s) (and any others if you want to)
- Method of arrest
- Form of punishment(s) received

When the local magistrate is satisfied with the facts of the case, teams may proceed to receive their next clue.

In Highfalutin Banal, teams will make their way to the Middlesbrough Central Library where they will find a list of British literary classics, with one randonly assigned to them:

In homage to the infamous My Immortal fanfiction (http://myimmortalrehost.webs.com/index.htm), they must then pick a story and then retell and condense it in at least 11 sentences, introducing the following elements:
- Bad grammar and spelling
- Mention of the word 'goffick' (a corruption of 'gothic')
- Have at least one of the characters turned into a vampire
- Blatant OOC, or out-of-character writing
(Essentially as long as you distort the original story, you'll do fine.)

Once the chavette reader in the library (you can spot her by her HUGE earrings) is satisfied with the story and the librarian sufficiently shocked, teams may receive their next clue.

Teams must now travel by train to the city of Middlesbrough, regularly cited as one of the worst cities in England. It is home to many chavs and teenage single moms (not mutually exclusive, certainly), drug dealers and widespread poverty. They must make their way to Elstree & Borehamwood train station, where trains leave once every 10 minutes starting on the hour, and will take 15 minutes to reach Middlesbrough. Once the train arrives at Middlesbrough train station on the scheduled time, teams will make their way to the utterly tacky and pointless statue of Spectra-txt to find their next clue.

Roadblock:
Who's a fan of all things voyeuristic?
("Hello, hello!" Davina appears on the TV screens in the Big Brother house all excited, "I'll bet that you weren't expecting to see me so soon, hahaha! You're on my turf now!")
In this Roadblock, Racers will experience 2 of modern Britain's favourite pastimes combined in full force: gossip rags and reality TV. Each Racer will be randomly assigned a contestant from Davina's show Big Brother, and they must post in this thread links to 10 articles, along with their titles, which mention their contestant. Their post must also include a picture of their contestant and state their name. (Yes, different Racers may link to the same article or picture as long as it mentions the contestant they are assigned to.) The articles must be original content published by the site owner, and not copied/sourced from other sites or media sources.

There is, however, 1 more twist to this: Each Racer must be 'voted out' by the public, per international Big Brother rules. Racers must get a Yuku poster with at least 500 posts, who is not currently in this game, to post *(poster name) votes to evict (Racer name) from the Big Brother house*. Racers must complete both parts (they can complete them in any order) in order to receive their next clue. Each poster may only vote to save a maximum of 2 Racers.

London is one of the largest metropolises in heavily-urbanised Europe, and besides its wealth and reputation, is known for its outrageous prices, crumbling infrastructure and council trash. A Yuku friend of the host has also spent some time complaining about London and the UK, and his taste is generally fine, so... In any case, when teams land, they must make their way to Elstree Studios in the suburb of Borehamwood, where they will receive their next clue.

To fly to London, teams must now make their way to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport, which serves the metropolitan area of Santiago de Cali.

The standard currency is Great Britain is the pound sterling (GBP).
