Since then, I've been hooked on TAR and have watched the show religiously; eventually catching up on the first 4 seasons via torrents as well...

Well, the first time was in pretty late 2003 I guess. My bro & I were channel-surfing and we stopped at AXN where we saw several teams of two in a frenzy
to prepare, cook and then eat these large ostrich eggs and oh my god, I fell in love with the show. Yup... If you are a TAR fan, you'd know that my very
first episode would be the leg in Tanzania in TAR5; where Charla/Mirna got eliminated.

Well I could use a few more posts before 2k :P.
Well I was in my step-dad's room using his computer since I had a few files then he was watching something on TV. I looked and saw this midget eating a very long sausage (No really the one in Warsaw). I stopped and watched a bit and then I ended up laughing my eyes out with that. Then I learned more about the game like this thing called a "roadblock". I didn't know that you had to answer a question first so I thought that the midget (Charla) was doing it for entertainment. I laughed and then I saw these 2 people find out that they were elimmed and I said "They are probably gay". I watched the next episode then I quickly fell in love with Goddesses Mirna and Charla <333. After that I downloaded season 10 and instantly fell in love with Lyn/Karlyn, David/Mary, Vipul/Arti, Kellie/Jamie and a few more. I watched the complete season 10 in 1 day and I loved it despite Bama not winning The first time I watched a TAVR was W/C 2. I saw Kelly/Heather and Max/May. I am familiar with them so I watched them and I thought that this was an awesome thing to do and found more interesting characters like Jeff/Zoila, Stella/Starr and Caleb/Owen. After that I looked around sucks for more TAVRs and got hooked with reading it and found some hilarious characters like Claire/Damien, Melanie/Cynthia, Kurt/Dmitry, Brooke/Ashanti, Wan/Chung, Josef/Robi and many more. I soon joined the next one which was Thinga's and then ATTAR 5 :P. I am such an addict >_>. |

Well, the first time I watched TAR during its first season back on AXN channel seven years ago back in January 2002. My older brother introduced me to the
reality show like Survivor. I was first saw a week after my family reunion from my mother's family side. After season one ended, I became a fan and I'm
a regular viewer since season two aired less than six weeks after the season one finale. I was in second year high school at that time.
My very first episode that I saw in Thailand leg in season 1, when Guidos and Nancy/Emily did took the Fast Forward, Guidos won the FF and Nancy/Emily not managed to took the detour correctly. They chose to took the taxi to the next destination was the roadblock. |

While I had been watching bits and pieces of TAR during TAR 4, my first full episode was the one in South Korea. Watching the only team with a vadge among them
pwn was great, and watching the clows narrowly avoid nonelimination also great. I managed to catch the last episodes of the season and then watched all of
TAR5. I would eventually skip TAR6/7/9 because of the crapiness of the season (6) or the season that preceded it (7, 9), eventually rewatching all.

I had a choice the night TAR premiered, I needed to decide whether I should watch that or Lost (the reality show). After much debating I went with TAR....and
it was the right choice!

I was flipping through channels when I saw Romber running around London. I figured it wasn't Survivor when they were competing against a team named
Meredith & Gretchen and soon I was rooting for the old couple because they had apparently made it to the final 4 even though they were old. They got
eliminated in that episode, but I eventually kept watching. I don't think I watched a season in full until TAR All-Stars because they started showing it on
Sundays. I have rewatched TAR 5,6,10-13. I am worried about watching the earlier seasons of TAR because the editing was not as tight and ADD-induced (I watched
TAR2's premiere and was bored). However, I'll give it a shot considering I dragged myself through TAR6 (which actually was not as bad as posters
claim).

The alliance/showmance between Tara/Alex (while Wil and Chris to a lesser extent sulked in the background) is probably the longest-running theme of any TAR (except maybe the Twin Hunt, in the even better TAR3 which you also need to watch, like, now). |

My first episode was TAR7, episode 1, but my first season started with TAR8, Episode 2.
It's your fault, Tammy. =P |

Looks like I might be one of the few first season, first episode watchers. Never missed an episode/season since, of course.

I think the first episode I ever saw was the second leg in TAR3. I had no idea what was going on and turned it off after about 2 minutes. After that I saw
maybe 5 combined minutes of the rest of the season. When season 4 started, I saw parts of the first episode and was sort of amused. But then I didn't watch
again until the India episode where Tian was doing the bull dragging roadblock thing. That's when I became hooked and eventually caught up on the first 3
seasons.

I have no clue how you people can like Charla and Mirna, the midget is so pushy and the homely looking one is so annoying. One of the worst visuals ever was
when the midget had a bathing suit and all her cellulite was showing. Boy was that nasty.

I always knew that the show existed, and definitely sounded like something i would like, but I never knew when it was on. They air it here in AXN. I remember I
caught part of the episode where Gus/Hera got eliminated, but never found the show again. Then, I saw the TAR9 finale, and hated hated hated the Hippies, and
hated even more that they won. Then, I watched the Kuwait episode, which was the first complete episode I saw, and finally understood the whole concept of
roadblock, detour, and fast forward, I was immediately hooked. I remember I was all like "Boy, I wanna do that Kuwait towers thing". Then I saw all
the way through Spain, but don't remember why I didn't catch the finale. That tomato thing with the Kimberly breakdown was EPIC.
Finally, I watched the TAR13 premiere and decided I had to catch up and found all the seasons in youtube, so while I was watching TAR13 every week, I began to catch up with the rest and saw the seasons in this order: 12, 9, 10, 7, 1, 2, 3, 5, 11, 6, 4. Now I'm obsessed with the show. |

My first episode was Season 2, ep 3 (Peggy & Claire SLEEPAGE) when it was a repeat on cable... the second episode I saw was a few days later, Season 6,
episode 1 being played first run.
From there, it went in the order of 2, 6, 7, 1 (cable marathon), 3, 4, 5, 9 (8 was skipped over), 10 (first online season), 8, 11, 12, 13 |

NEL in Hong Kong? (TAR 6)
I didn't watch the finale though, I saw previews for Season 7 so I just decided to watch. I think Romber may have got me to watch. That was back where they weren't as annoying. |
