I watched them all in order from Episode 1, Season 1 - though as they didn't air them in my country, so they were all downloaded. TAR7 was the first
season I watched "live" week-by-week instead of in watching one or two a night in a marathon.

It was the fifth season premiere. I'd seen a preview for it one time, and I thought, "Hmm, a cool travel show? That looks really cool!" And it
hooked me in. :)

The Singapore part of the 2-hour episode in TAR3. It was soo advertised here since Singaporeans are big TAR watchers, but despite how disappointing the actual
legwas I as intrigued by the show a lot (always wanted to watch it, love anything with travel) and decided to give it a shot.

I am also one of the "first season, first episode, from the beginning" watchers. In fact, now that I think about it, I also watched Survivor from the
beginning.
Too bad now the only thing I remember from the first season was the searching in thousands of coins (I think) by Momily and some other team in the FF. [Off Topic] On a side note, they should totally bring back the marauding stuff off the boat from the first season of Survivor. That was freaking hectic. [/Off Topic] |

K, I was a regular Survivor fan back then, watching every episode from season one on AXN. I saw a commercial for TAR several times, but I paid no attention. Up
until the first season ended, and they just did the TAR1 weekend marathon like what they love to do nowadays. When I saw Thailand legs, I was thrilled!
(Actually the episodes in India with Lenny/Karyn and Momily NEL'd got me hooked.) Then the premiere of TAR2 came along and I was a vivid fan ever since.
I only had a chance to watch a full season of TAR1 just a few years ago when I was studying in Australia and they did the marathon all day long. The only episode I miss in the entire franchise and still haven't watched up until today is TAR8 leg when the Bransens got NEL'd. It was two back-to-back episodes I think and I watched only the second half. |

I have only seen Seasons 7-10 fully. I caught bits of TAR 12 and bits of TAR 13... but TAR has gotten a bit dull after the past few seasons.

My first TAR season was season 3. I'm not sure if Studio 23 (in the Philippines) showed TAR1 or 2, but yeah, I know I was excited about TAR because of the
past two Survivor seasons I've previously seen (Africa and Marquesas). So anyways, because I just finished watching Marquesas, I definitely rooted for the
"underdogs" of TAR3. Gina/Sylvia and Teri/Ian were my favorite teams then, and still are to some degree today (Gina/Sylvia not so much, but I'm
happy they got a nice placing in the recent Sucks popularity poll).
So in the first episode of season 3, I was not happy that Ken/Gerard got the FF. It pretty much led to the battle between the Wonder Twins and Gina/Sylvia for last place, and I had a good feeling that Gina/Sylvia are not gonna survive that. I guess that's why I still don't like Ken/Gerard that much until today. And so that's how I got hooked to TAR. I've missed some episodes, but with each season, my "watched" episode count is way higher than my "unseen" episode count. And I never miss the finale even though they're huge disappointments most of the time. I've also caught up to TAR1 and 2 thanks to this person who uploaded the episodes in parts in Youtube a couple of years ago... too bad the account's now down. |

My first epi was Flo's Vietnam meltdown in Season 3 - what a place to start!
Seen everything since. OLN Canada has re-aired the earlier seasons so I have seen every epi and am working on getting them all burned to DVD. |

For me, Romber got me into TAR. Had never seen an episode before that, but I loved it after season 7, so I went back and watched all the previous seasons
except for season 6 (never got to it

My first Amazing Race season was with BJ and Tyler. Before then, i saw glimpses of episodes and just missed them because i forgot what time or day it came on.
After than season i went back and watched every season of the Amazing Race except for the Family Edition which seemed like crapped within the first minute of
the 1st episode.

my first episode of TAR ever was the TAR7 one where Brain and Greg were eliminated in their swimming trunks. It was 2 in the morining, i couldnt sleep, and i
was flipping through channels and it was on GSN. it was one of those mega marathons
i think it was a day or two later, I saw some TAR2, where Mary and Peach pwnd, then the next episdoe where they were eliminated. They were my first favorite team too lol then i started watching TAR8 and up, only missing a few. I caught the other seasons on re runs on GSN. |

First season, first episode and haven't missed one since, except for once when the electricity went out during an episode.
I think I remember there being commercials for TAR 1 during Survivor Australia or maybe it was Africa, and it caught my eye. I also have watched Survivor and BB since their first episodes. |

What an awesome mistake that turned out to be. I'm shocked out how many people started watching the show so late. Seasons 2 and 3 are must sees for anyone who loves this show. |

I was watching the E! Network when they had a segment about the death of reality tv after 9/11 one of the topics talked about were new reality shows premiering
(and how they were gonna struggle) TAR was one of them. "Race Around the World" they said, I personally thought that "Lost" would be more
interesting to watch. I later found myself watching The Amazing Race instead. I fell in love with the way they hopped from country to country and was utterly
bored with Lost, I was hooked ever since (although it was always just second banana to Survivor in my heart at the time, it wasn't until I downloaded TAR
10 (I stopped watching during the Family Ediition) and saw TARAS that I developed a newfound love and respect for TAR that eclipses Survivor)
I'm also surprised to see so many people start so late. Anyway, I'm glad to say that I was present to see all the legendary moments of the race, Amy's then-epic meltdowns, Momily crying in India while being swarmed by Indians, the Guidos blocking airport doors, Tara and Will fighting, the utter fabulousness of the Chas shopping in HK, that asshole Blake, Godess Flo, Teri and Ian fighting, the elimination of the alpha-Twins, Jon naked in Hawaii, Charla's meat, the bowling moms, Colin and the Ox, plus all the hulabaloo about Rob and Amber (I hated their guts in ASS but found myself rooting for them in TAR) and how unprecedented it was for them to bring in scheming and actual survivor strategy to the Race. Although I did stop watching once I learned the Family Edition was gonna be US-based and how incredibly boring the first episode was. And then I skipped 9 then 10 altogether, I downloaded 10 after all the buzz around David and Mary, Dustin and Kandice and the westward route ...boy was that awesome.
