The difference though is that Ben actually took some great pictures throughout the comp, Colin hasn't had one good photoshoot since the start.

still hoping for a surprise, but it seems like everything from here on out is just gonna be killing time until the J-v-J finale.
in retrospect, much of the season has turned out to be just that. i'd like to believe that the editors are simply setting us up for some massive shock still to come, but evidence supporting such a theory gets scanter and scanter with each episode. agreeance with the douchiness of the judges, but if you consider other examples, like the design shows, or the penultimate DWTS idjuts, the douche level there is pretty average. |

Just watched this weeks show. I actually like that Mouthuahaha girl. I am hot and cold with Salami.
I think Jordan looked ridiculous at that fitting. She either looks like a homeless person or great. Not so much in between there. Good riddance to both Laury and Karryn or however you spell their names. Whatever happened to normal spelling of names? And while I think Colin is a nice guy, he doesn't belong there anymore. And why in the Bravo polling is he listed "Who was a supermodel this week?" or whatever the question was. And he won?? Still 8 people left...eek. Month #22 and counting..... |

Do they do a spokes model comp on this show? I think Colin might be really good at that kind of thing.
I had no idea he was in med school, but this gig could help pay for that. The things he doesn't seem to "get" like where the light is, or what they mean by face to camera, or the stupid walk? They all seem so easily fixable to me. He's not dumb, and if the terms were explained, or he was shown the ropes, I think he would win this hands down. Mountahaha has a great attitude, and I like that she's done her homework, but what is that on her chin? She needed something different with the hair too, it sucked before, but it's worse after the "makeover" crap. |

I agree with CeeGigh. I like Mountaha. |

Does anyone else think its odd that the model's they pick to go on the go-sees are always for the most part rejected by the client? You almost have to
wonder who's the bigger fuck up. . .the models or that dude that thinks they were the best that week?
Also, Salami photographs old I think. That one picture of her and Moutahaha looked like two 30 year olds getting drunk. I agreed with the first 4 boots but after that I would have done it Gabe Collin Laury The Teenage Guy. . .arrogant one? Final 8 of - Sandhurst, Jonathan, Amanda, Jordan, CJ, Moutaha, Salomai, Kerryn. |

No I do not think it is odd because most of these models suck at being models. Why would you hire them when you can hire a real model? It makes sense that the
good ones got booked.

If the dude had a day with Tyra coaching him I think he could actually be a "supermodel." Or at least, you know, work.Or at least, you know, "smile with his eyes." |

What I do find odd is that they give the models almost zero training. If the show is called "Make..." why do they expect the models to already know
what they are doing? It bothers me.

I may be in the minority saying this but I think CJ should still be there.

Carboys Desire wrote:It bothers me too. Some people are naturals at modeling, but some need a little training to pick up the basics. What are Tyson & that other new panel model there for anyway? Shouldn't they be training/advising the members of their teams, and not just "Pick it up or you'll go home" or "I really think he/she has potential." Useless. |

Do you think she should continue to persue modeling? |

It's true though. She looks like a 40 year old hag.

One thing Tyra does do on ANTM is offer more advice and teaching, at least in appearance. And the Jays and the judges do try and offer them advice (Sometimes
too much), but at least it gels with the concept of trying to find ANTM from rookies. Make me a supermodel seems to offer less constructive advice to the
contestants and the ones that are already good are slaughtering everyone else.

Last year, there was a lot more coaching (fitness, walking, etc.) than this year. It's possible that they're still doing the coaching, but not showing
it to us. Of course, it's also possible they just said "fuck it" since the few who need the coaching least are clearly the best candidates
anyway...

"I was shocked that Kerryn got the boot. And even more shocked that Colin totally threw her under the bus. She had a bad photo shoot because of him. It
just goes to show that you shouldn't be thinking with your pants when you're in a competition like this. Had Kerryn selected someone that knew what
they were doing then perhaps she would've had a better photo. But I hated the way they styled her this week. her hair was all wrong. It made her look
rather plain and round. No shock about Laury. That bitch needed to get cut on day one. I don't understand how they select the black females for this show.
They are never attractive or particulary photogenic. Kerryn shouldn't have gotten the boot. Colin should've gone instead. But I really wanted Amanda
gone. I don't know why, but she irritates me and I guess everyone else in this season's cast.
I loved Luary's tirade against Salome. I kind of agree with her. There's an air of fake about Salome. Actually, almost all the girls this season are not very likeable except for Kerryn and Montahua. I think the producers did that on purpose. There's no way they can have a woman win again. All the guys seem leagues more likeable than the ladies. Montahua actually photographed better than Salome, but whatever. It's impressive that Montahua has done her homework. She knows almost everything there is to know about the fashion world. I think when she finally makes a go of it in NYC as a model she could cobble together a career. She just needs to tone her body more and develop a softer side. Designers, labels, etc. like a girl that knows her shit. But she is on the older side so I don't know how well her knowledge of the industry will translate when she has time working against her. But she could do well in second or third tier markets like Asia." What Sugar saz! :} |

I hate them keeping Colin because he's improving. Yeah he has grown leaps and bounds since the beginning, but he is by a country mile the worst model left
(and he has been for a few weeks).
