What are the absolute TEN things I need to know to at least make some sense of this Season 5?!!! I think I have a few: 1) Ben wants to kill Penelope 2) The foot statue 3) 4) . . . . . 10) ?? Help!

Your post kinda makes it sound like you've never seen the show and want a list of 10 things you need to know to begin S5. If you've never seen it before, try 1000 things you need to know. You mentioned the statue.. well I dunno anything about it yet so I wouldn't add that to a catch-up list. 1. Yep Ben threatened to go after Penny because he blames Widmore for Alex's death. 2. Ben wants all of the O6 (and Locke's body) to go back to the island. Ben said he himself could never go back after moving the island, but if that's true.. season 6 might be lacking. 3. Juliet, Sawyer, Daniel, Miles, Charlotte, Rose, Bernard, Locke, Alpert and redshirts/some Others are alive (for now). The ones left behind are in danger if Jack and the O6 don't go back. (according to Ben) 4. Sun has some kind of connection to Widmore now but S4 left us not knowing if she plans to fuck him up (for causing Jin's death) or help him (because maybe she blames Jack and company for his death). I'm assuming it's reason #1. 5. The question is no longer "Guys, where are we?" but "WHEN are we?".... time travel ain't going away. That is so not a spoiler! If I keep typing, I might slip.. How do we know this? We know that Locke, Alpert, Juliet, Sawyer, Miles, Charlotte, and assorted Others (including Cindy and the kids) were still on the island when Ben moved it. We assume that Rose and Bernard are still on the island, because we never saw them leave the island. If you're one of the people who's read the TV Guide (etc.) episode descriptions, then you know the fate of Daniel, and from that can probably figure out the fate of the redshirts he was ferrying to the freighter.

I so wish they would have cast Yunjin as Kate.

Remove this ad The 8-minute recap of seasons 1-3 (you can find it on YouTube) actually does a really good job of summarizing the important events from the first 3 seasons. And the recap episode airing on Wednesday should cover most of the season 4 stuff.
