Every time he opened his mouth, I wanted to punch a baby. Seriously, every thing was an attempt to say something cute, funny or clever and they were none of the above. Very nice man, but his 'humor' was like a 7 on the Michael Scott Awkward Scale. He did say one very cool thing at the mat - something about 'leaving the world a better place by having his son there' I though that was kinda cool. I mean, if Nacho Libre can't unite the people, I don't know what can. Nice team - seemed very likeable, but I don't care one way or the other that they are gone.

He was unhappy most of the time. He was constantly yelling at his mother - yelling in his deaf way. the reason i didn't post this on luke's hate or love thread is this: i genuinely want to know, i thought deaf people don't have an inkling on how loud/soft their own voices are? every deaf geriatric people i've seen shout instead of talk.

They seemed a bit (just a bit) relieved to be eliminated, because of the way other teams (those left) were being so cut-throat about racing. Sounded like they were worried the fun was gone. And total agreeance to whoever remarked on the spice shop task. Just compare the fun they seemed to be having with the shopkeeper with the earlier, pack of wolves, snapping and snarling at him. And their task was even easier, because they didn't have the entire wall to search through for only one clue. Just read an interview, and had to include my love for this answer: What advice would you give to future competitors on the Race? Mike: Don't trust the deaf kid. But they didn't know which drawers had already been chosen, did they? I thought their task was extra hard because they still had to guess from all the drawers, but with only one clue left instead of six. I'm bummed that they're gone. They were my favorite team, and it says a lot about them that they continued to have grace and class even when they knew they were behind.

IKR? The NELs almost always occur either the week before or the week after my favorite teams get eliminated. It pisses me the fuck off because the NEL ends up saving some lame team like Team Midgets.
