Well.. Tatiana now has my full support after tonight. I want this goddess to take it all. *swoon*
Before tonight, I liked her in a Tatiana = trainwreck and trainwreck on live TV = gold sort of way so although I found her to be superbly annoying, I wanted her to make the live shows b/c she would be fun to watch and sounded like she had a decent voice. How uncommon is it to find the personality/joke/trainwreck contestant who can actually sing? VERY. And then tonight came and everything changed. She came out and sang and damn did she SING. I never really paid much attention to her actual voice but she's really good and has a really amazing vocal that is strong and can really take her far on the show based on vocal talent. I am expecting an amazing critique and then the judges spew their shit and one thing is clear - Tatianna was put on the show b/c of her antics and her antics alone. They acted like they didn't even know she could sing and that they didn't want Tatiana if it was wasn't Crazed!Tatiana! which fucking pissed me off. Was she going mental? No but she sang her damn song and sang it like a fucking goddess/master and all she gets is 'you had moment' and what happend to Tatiana from Hollywood? Fuck Them! I love her now. She's got personality AND she can sing. Bitches better recognize. |

Tatiana is no more insane than Celine Dion. The judges clearly don't want her to go through, so why did they let her get this far? She was by far the better female singer, and I think she was smart to tone it down. She knows that there's no time to get hysterical, and she doesn't want "America" to think she's nuts. In the meantime, she's still clearly a lunatic (the dramatic pose at the end of her song) so I'm happy. |

family' as though he would somehow not actually receive any rewards from a recording contract?
The entire criticism about her being 'demure' last night was totally absurd. Honestly, what did they want her to do, thrash herself against the floor, forget the words to her song, hump the stage? How did they want this to manifest itself during a performance? And she had to justify herself by talking about her interest in marketing herself. Could you even imagine if they had asked Danny the same question in that tone of voice? Classic Idol double-standard, and they won't get called out on it. Tatiana's problem was that she is frank, and she had the misfortune of not having a spouse die or having three fat white trash kids. |

I have heard that they have pretty extensive psychological counseling on this show and after what happened with the girl killing herself, I wonder if
they'd take a chance getting someone who really is that unstable. I think a lot of it is an act, and they played it up. The show does that I hear.
