Good news for her is that she's way hotter than Carly = she'll make it further? Bad news is they were up front this time about her prior record deal
so that even the most backwoods out-of-the-loop viewers will be well aware of that fact and I have to wonder how it'll fly with them.

Oh shit..I remember that Annie fiasco as well!
They had her plastered all over the papers here in the tri state area, etc. I would like for it to come down to the final choice of the F24...and Simon's evil heart chooses a better singer while Joann battles laryngitis and is sent home.
