For those few of you who care, his new album called "The Distance" drops March 10. His new single "What's Right Is Right" can be heard on taylorhicks.com and www.myspace.com/taylorhicks.

I like this new single. Very him and fitting the direction he should go.

I didn't like him on Idol, but I'm digging this song.

It doesn't mesh well with the Price is Right theme earworm that's bouncing around in my head (thanks, seaguy :P ), but it's pretty groovy.

Random, but I was in the market around Christmas and heard a song playing and I was thinking "Who Is This? What Song Is This?" and couldn't place it. Then as I went from the cereal aisle to the canned fruits & veggies aisle I heard "Do I make you proooouuuddd..."

I've got no expectations or preconceived notions about this album, but so far so good.

Taylor is on Idol Tonight, with Justin Guarini and Kimberly Caldwell, right now -- on the TV Guide Channel. He's doing a pretty good job commenting on the show. Its good to see him again. :)
