I made it cuz the other one kept fucking up (showing two extra pages and not opening properly) and because the person who started it is banned now and can't edit to indicate Carrie will release a new album this year. I'd love for this thread to be just like the last one... civil.

She said she would be writing and I think we can assume that the album will be out Oct/Nov of this year if all goes well. That would be 2 years between albums as Tiger said. That's about average for most artists.

I guess they have finally run out of singles from Carnival Ride. I know cd sales are down but I never would have imagined with all those number 1's she wouldn't even reach 3 million. I would have figured 4 million to be a gimme. At this rate she'll be struggling to reach 2 million with the next cd unless they put a pop plant song on there.
