I hope he's not boring. The few times AI lets a hot guy into the Top 24, they've been boring as dirt. I pray Luke and the Aussie fellow don't bore the shit of out me.My worst fear is of him being some cheesy Ace Young clone who caresses his scar(if he has one) while he sings. Oh please don't suck OR be cheesy Luke. He's hot, he has potential and I need someone to help ease the pain of my Pasha Kovalev withdrawal

I just listened to the stuff on his group's myspace, and I didn't realize they were a Christian group until i came here. He sings lead on How Deep
is Your Love, which is fab.

Well I just saw a little clip on the local Fox station that Luke went to Millikin University in Decatur. But apparently all they asked him was who he thought
his biggest threat was Kristy Lee Cook.
Unfortunately I think East Central Illinois is going to lose its second American Idol contestant in the first week just like Jared Yates in season 4. |

Lemonhead gets an award for good research and/or precognition for the Ace Young comparison when we hadn't heard Luke before. Bingo! Anwar comes to mind as
well (mediocre performance hopefully redeemed by glory note at the end). I doubt if he's gone this week though. Garrett and Jason Yeager were worse. Kudos
to Randy as well for using "sharp" instead of just leaving his comments at "pitchy"

The one positive I have about him is that he sang a good Keane song in his audition. For that alone i think he should get another chance over some of the
