Apollo, I don't know what Neleh's manipulation of Paschal refers to. If it's just about the overthrow of the Rotu 4, then all five members of the counter alliances will be credited anyways. I added the one about Vee, though. |

What is REALLY fun about this list is that no matter what you post you know there's going to be someone who is immediately like "zomg that was
actually stupid because xyz and it was just luck that abc didn't happen because otherwise jfk" etc. And I plan on being one of those people.

Ewwww # Idol moves not being considered worth making it. If someone makes a move that works within the rules of the season they should make it. Like Alex
manipulating Probst to get Michelle booted was a good move that would not have been able to happen in "pure Survivor"
Saying that someone being able to play a twist is not a good move to me is silly. I said this in my jury speech in Rio Novo [though I actually got Yau Man'd in the game, so I nver got to say it] that saying that the winner of Suvivor: Cook Islands should be the person who would have won would it have been Survivor: Borneo is like saying the winner of a game of Seven Card Stud poker is the guy who would have won were they playing Texas Holdem

I meant like Amanda playing the idol or Yul telling people he had it should not be considered. Yul telling people was common sense just like Terry had done the
season before while Amanda and Yau Man both recieved the most votes at the final 6. That means they should have been eliminated. Getting targetted but being
lucky enough to have an idol does not make it a good strategic move.

I disagree, I disagree so much
1. Amanda, as Kenc has explained, did indeed make a good move that round. She drew the votes toward her and convinced everyone she didn't have the idol even though it was obvious that she would. I'm not a huge Amanda fan, but that was indeed good shit 2. Terry DIDNT tell everyone he had the idol. So Yul was the person who thought of it. Sure, it was obvious, and not nearly one of his more innovative moves, but it was his idea and it did play a big part of his. 3. Knowing when and how to play the idol is the trick. If you have the idol, and you play it right, it's playing the game with the rules the existed that season. Yau and Amanda both played the idol at the right time [even though they had one more round of legal play] by detecting the, as Yau called it, "bad vibes" and they should be commended for it. Top 50 commended for it? Maybe not. Semifinals commended for it? Absofriggenlutly. People like James and Jason and MircoOzzy proved that not knowing when to play your idol in a season when idols exist can screw your game, same with Terry not realized that he could have saved his alliance by giving one of his allies the idol when he was immune. Knowing how and when to play the idol and whether to risk giving it to someone else in a season when the idol exists is good gameplay. And people denying that is getting on my nerves |

a great move to get people to target her when if you watch the episode (which I will never do again, worst episode of all time and not just because Amanda
played the idol), she didn't do anything of the sort.
Terry told Danielle he had the idol. He knew Danielle was in the majority alliance, and it would result in others knowing. Yeah, he did deny it when talking to Shane and Boston, but he let enough people know about it to get people to not target him had he lost an immunity challenge. Some people were willing to let Aras take the fall, but people did want to save him and were scared of the idol. I don't really want to defend anything Terry did, but Yul was not a mastermind for telling everyone about the HII. As far as number three, again, better gameplay would be keeping the target off their backs in the first place. Yau got outplayed by Cassandra at the final 6, yet he looks like a hero for having found a cheat sheet. Come on. That is not strategy, and we all know he should have left instead of Stacy. |

@ TS: Jenna was the one who turned the vote on Deena not Rob. Rob was the pussy who was waiting to see who had the majority and wanted to vote with the
majority.
More Rebuttals: The men (mainly Rob) were scared more of Heidi then of Jenna (who Rob perceived as a goat). As Jenna answered in her thread, she gave immunity to Heidi to screw Rob and make sure he would vote out Christy over her since Rob wanted Jenna with him at the end. With Heidi immune and leaving Jenna and Christy up for being voted out, it forced Rob to stick with his word in voting out Christy cause he wanted a goat at the end there for him. I would say that Jenna/Heidi had some part in Christy's boot and not Rob because they put pressure on Christy by asking for another women's alliance that would likely go in their favor (purple rock rules for any tie since Marquesas was the two people who were tied are now immune and the remaining few (except the one with immunity who was Jenna) would be up for the rock draw). And everyone in the freaking game knew Rob was paranoid easily (as shown when Jenna exposed his goat plans in front of everybody). With pressure from Jenna/Heidi to force a tie and form a women's alliance (and likely get into F2 which is better than her guaranteed F4 spot with the guys), Christy declared herself as a swing vote to everyone still left in the game. Julie should get credit for the Twila flip and not the rest of the women since she was playing mindgames with Twila.

So Amanda putting a target on her back without attempt is better gameplay than say Sugar staying under the radar and not needing the idol to affect anything?
