Stephenie was in a much more powerful position than Danielle was and was someone who people wanted to take to the F2, where Danielle had no one wanting her in F2 until she had eliminated both Courtney and Shane. I feel that Stephenie was in the position to make good moves and take Judd to the end with her and was not 'screwed either way'. Danielle wasn't mistaken to vote out Courtney & Shane, she had no way to know how the final challenge would be and in her mind would be booted by Terry at F3 if she went with him and Courtney, and Shane was coming after her hardcore, so she had to vote him out. I don't view Danielle as a goat at all; her mistake was not playing good enough of a social game with Austin & Sally earlier on, not how she performed F6 past. People who say the EI conclusion was predictable either read spoilers or are lying, for those watching it live it was up in the air whether Sally or Austin would vote for her and she definately had the chance to get their votes and win it.
Quid, I fully acknowledge that Steph's endgame was far from perfect, but she was in a tough position, and sometimes you have no other choice. You don't criticize Danielle for voting off Courtney and Shane, when she was screwed either way, too. Sometimes people have to make choices that aren't necessarily good for them, but are much better than the alternate.
but whatever, I love Steph and you hate her, and I don't think that's ever going to change.![]()
And, as already pointed out, Danielle was screwed big time when a big ally of hers, Bruce, left the game due to medical reasons at F7. :P
