So at first I was The clips made the songs all sound the same... wtf was that? But the full songs are AWESOME! My favorites are: Bring it Back Is it over Before we come undone The Truth Let it Rain Can't stay away (this song is fuckin sexy as hell) ones I like but didn't jizz over Red Guitar Written all over my face (which is funny cuz based on the clips I thought this was the second strongest song on the CD LOL) LLWD Lifetime I need to know Alright with me song they could've left off Heartless |

let it rain is exactly the type of song i'd like to see more of. very james morrison, very soulful.
alright with me is fun and jangly...i like the intro alot. lifetime's a snoozefest, and that's the one song where he actually doesn't sound very good on (nay, bad on). not a big fan of the truth either. the rest range from good (bring it back) to great (red guitar). pretty solid pop album. this would've been a hit a couple of years ago, but mainstream radio's is just too urban and rhythmic leaning now. we'll see how he fares. |
