So I spent most of my day today at work pulling return cosmetic items and it got me wondering what brand of cosmetics is the most popular...
L'oreal? Revlon? Maybeline? Cover Girl? Almay? Neutrogena? Rimmel? Physician's Formula? Don't wear makeup? or OTHER? Just wondering... |

A friend of mine became a Mary Kay lady, so that's all I use now.
I still use Clinique moisturizer, though, because the MK and store brands (l'Oreal, etc.) aren't moist enough. |

Revlon foundation - it took me forever to find a foundation the right shade of rich dark brown. Where I live it is all about varying shades of pale.
eyeshadow - whatever colour strikes my fancy never wear mascara - eyelashes are long and black already no need for blush gee, i guess i am good going almost au natural

LOL Wet And Wild...that's the CHEAP shit! We have an endstand of that in the back of the store...its always messed up from people digging through it.

wet and wild is fabulous for certain things because it i s cheap. none of the extra stuff in it that fucks up your skin/makes it sensitive/smells funny. i
wouldn't use the mascara but the powder and liquid liner are fabulous

has anyone had any luck with any pore reducing lotion stuff? i saw an ad i think for a loreal one but haven't had much luck with them in the past and am
hesitant. not lines or zits, just pores

what blonde said about wet and wild. that it is cheap just makes it that much better. chanel foundation and lip pencils (nude is the best) are awesome.

I would have wondered instead why I'm dithering away at a job pulling cosmetic returns, and how there's got to be something better in life, and how miserable I am doing something so tedious and unimportant, and how I might want to take a few minutes to reconsider jumping off a cliff and putting an end to it all... But that's just me. It's great that you have perspective. |

Best thing for pores is salicylic acid. Give yourself an aspirin mask regularly, or buy something with that ingredient. Or retinols.

i use salicylic acid based stuff and also witch hazel to no avail. what is the aspirin mask? maybe i'm just destined to have large pores. blech.

How does one make an aspirin mask, Mrs Peel?
Oh and Sephora is my mecca so I choose from the lot there, Benefit and Nars being my favourite (that "Orgasm" blush is the best colour ever). Have you ever had an IPL treatment, Blondie? Shrinks your pores into invisibility. |
