I tried Benetint because everyone was raving about it but I didn't like the way it went on--it was hard to control the application.

And they have both Nico and Orgasm available in lip glosses now too <3
Yeah it's something a facialist at the dermatologists' office does. If you can overcome your Iatrophobia, your skin will resemble a china cup! Remember you have to suffer to be beautiful ;). I want Emma to come back and tell us about this aspirin mask. |

lol, financially i can in no way justify cosmetic dermatology and that is a GREAT excuse with my dr phobia :)
if you ever venture back into the stains, try the link i posted. the one you tried is a true liquid with a brush right? no to that. |

LOVE that Tarte stuff blonde posted. Most of my makeup now is either MAC, Urban Decay, or Bare Minerals.
Aspirin mask - just grind up some aspirin, mix it with some water or whatever else you want to mix it with to make a paste, and smear it on your face. I've never tried it, but I've heard a lot of people say how well it worked.

Mix some honey or aloe with it if you're prone to dry out easily.

I'm pretty obsessive about my complexion because it's still one of my best features ( although when I see my youngest, I remember what a truly flawless
peach bloom I once had).
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisterizer followed by her undereye concealer. Bare Essentials Mineral powder Nars Blush in Orgasm Nars or Smashbox eyeshadow Clinique long lasting lipstick in Tenderheart. Or Pomegranite Lip Balm by Burt's Bees. Can't stand goopy gloss. |

Grr, I meant Tarte, lol. I got a little 3 pack of those, and I LOVED them.
I hate my complexion. It was perfect when I was younger, but the last few years it has been less so. It pisses me off. I almost bought that Pomegranate lip balm the other day, but then I didn't for some reason. |

I'm the opposite. My skin was shitty when I was younger and only improved in the last few years. I blame many of my psychiatric disorders on my previously
bad complexion.

cindilindi got it...crush uncoated aspirin and mix with water into a paste. apply on your face like a mask and then rinse. aspirin is salicylic acid.
your pores can't open or close like shutters..but they look much better when they are clean. clean with salicylic, or retinols. one gentle retinol cream over the counter is Philosophy's Help Me. it will even out your skin's texture and fade sun spots, etc. and it's great for the pores. all without the traditional burning/peeling of prescription retin A creams. after 2 weeks you'll be able to go without foundation, and wear only sunscreen. |

i don't wear foundation anyway; i think it aggrevates the problem. big time for me actually. i do think i'm screwed though, my pores (and skin in
general) are very clean. just damned big. pewp

Actually aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid (hence the ASA it is sometimes refered to) and if you have issues with it, be careful about applying it to your face.
Your skin is an organ and will ingest it just as if you swallowed it. It may be a good idea to run it past a health care professional if you have reactions to aspirin. |

I'm not insinuating your pores aren't clean, I'm saying these are the optimal ways to minimize their appearance.
Pore size is genetic. |

viva la blonde wrote: Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner worked for me. They also make a cleanser and lotion, but I haven't needed to use them. Aside from the fact that it works, it also isn't loaded with perfumes. I hate smelly products. |

i didn't take it as you were insinuating that just that you were educating me that if they had the slightest bit of oil in them they would be more
prominant. i was saying that i really thought they were shrinkable. like, i've tried everything and wasn't aware that the things were just gonna be
what ever size they wanted to. i'd kill for great skin. like, porcelain smooth
