Ditto on the horribleness of Philosophy Purity cleanser. I dunno what they put in that shit, but my skin felt like an apple head doll after using it. Right now
I'm using Adrien Arpel foam cleanser and I'm liking it.

Plain, old Cetaphil is also supposed to work great.OMG...we sell a SHITLOAD of this stuff, probably about 10-12 units a week at my store alone. Cetaphil and this other lotion called CeraVe are always selling out. |

i like neutrogena. i have sensitive skin. that and almay are good.
my friend loaned me the book "don't go to the makeup counter without me". it really opened my eyes about a lot of the stuff they sell, especially the expensive stuff. if you use it, it's in the book, if it was out when it was published. in a nutshell, the author was saying the ONLY thing worth buying that is pricey is eyeshadow. |

Joining the Philosophy h.a.t.e. Their Hope-in-a-Jar was the crappiest moisturizer I ever used. I do like the smell of their body washes, though, especially
the vanilla cake.

prescriptives foundation, the kind they match to your skin -- used forever
bobbi brown tinted lip balm -- love this stuff bobbi brown mascara and liquid eyeliner -- always looking for a mascara that won't smudge but will wash off without taking my eyelashes with it. there's something about me that causes my mascara to give me raccoon eyes. i don't even have a blush right now. i need to find one i like. i use neutragena oil-free moisture for sensitive skin. i had some laser treatments for rosacea 3 or 4 years ago (ie, laser treatments for being irish), and it's what the dermatologist recommended. he says it's the best. i have ridiculously dry skin and it does a good job. |

elizabeth arden: green tea. love it for everyday wear. the iced green though is almost exactly the same. yves saint laurent:baby doll. o boy do i love this. a little sweeter than i usually wear but very summery. not for work though. arden: beauty. really, i really like most arden perfumes. bill blass: amazing- the perfect summer day perfume. not too sweet or florally perry ellis: 360 red. good for going out on a summer evening with your friends. very girly with a cinnomon (how the fuck you spell that?) undertone. feed my addiction; recommend! |

I don't wear foundation but I love Lash Blast and Sephora eye shadows. And Beauty Rush lip glosses. I have approx 30 of them. All free. *dances*

Bare Esscentuals rules all for makeup. Even their lip gloss (LOVE. IT.) Except for mascara - I use Bad Gal or Full & Soft (I think that last one is
Maybelline).

My husband is allergic to most perfumes... but if I have a job assignment and he's already left for the day, I put on a little Shalimar Eau Legere. My
Grandma, Mom and aunts all wore the original Shalimar, but it's a bit too musky for me.
I still have a bottle that my mom bought in the 50's. |
