Yes, I believe you did say that. I think Jerry said at the beginning of the show - first or second episode - that he had just gotten hoarse or wasn't hoarse before he got there. Then his voice only seemed to get worse and worse. I agree. Totally surprised it's a recent diagnosis. How long before chain-smoker Angie has a diagnosis?

I mean, I honestly don't know, but aren't we writing his obituary a bit early? i wouldn't call it highly treatable if you mean easy to treat. it depends on the exact location of the tumor, for one thing. a lot of these cancers are diagnosed late. i don't know when he got the news, but we know he was certainly hoarse the entire time he was in the house. even if they found it early, he'd be looking at surgery and radiation. and if they found it late, add chemo to the list. it's a bad spot because it can spread to pretty vital things in the head and neck too. so i have no idea what his case is, but in a man his age, it's not a piece of cake.
