MORN pre-merge edit, decent visibility but probably very few confessionals. =) Sydney could have been... NOTHING. She was completely a waste. Same with Joe & J.eT., could those guys get any more boring? As soon as Jalapao lost the challenge, I was bummed only cos it meant I'd have to sit through 10 boring ass minutes of them talking about nothing (aka which woman to vote out). SO BORING! Anyway, I know I haven't done much this season (which is good for some of you I'm sure haha), but on Sunday I leave Cyprus for 2 weeks in mainland Europe so I won't be around for a while. I'll be back in Cyprus on the 27th so I'll post after then and try and catch up with everything that happened and download the new episodes off Itunes. See you then!

Stephen (increased his gap over Sierra) 2. Sierra (a negative short segment last episode-not great, but still there) 3. JT (suddenly rising-but in a Matty kind of way-I think he gets screwed soon) 4. Brenden (in a Marcus kind of way-we are supposed to be watching him closely) 5. If he can just tune his TV receiver unit to pick up images and sounds from this particular universe only, I bet his selections would be different. ps. in my quantum universe Joe and Coach form an unbeatable alliance, but in that universe coach is a humble janitor with a crewcut and Joe is a lady wrestler. Go figure.

I was taking about the player behind the edit, and her social game. Just remember, I knew Parvati had the right stuff to be a winner back in Cooks, when 90% of you dismissed her. I had her wire to wire as my #1 in Micronesia. And I told you Kenny wasn't winning last season too. It's between Stephen and Erinn, with Sierra and JT having an outside shot. Much too close to justify dogmatic certainty.

And I didn't act like an over-confident bully trying to write off those who disagreed as edgic heretics or dismissing them with ad hominen attacks. editing has shown Coach to be WRONG WRONG WRONG as often as posssible. But when has Coach ever dissed Brendan or called him a predictable stooge? No, Coach has respect for Branden, alligning with him ep.1, and considering him one of the "best" he wouldn't mind losing too. Tyson was much quicker to doubt Brandon. I'm thinking Tyson, Coach, Deb, and Erinn will blindside Brendan along with one of the Jalapaos (JT or even Stephen who arises as a snake). Then, Erinn will flip and blindside Tyson. I am thinking that Stephen flip flops all over the place like JFP and NYRob. However, I am thinking it may work in his advantage.

Last I checked, Kenny was 5th, Corinne was 7th. Kenny was 100x the candidate that Corinne ever was, you just wanted her to win. Because an extremely N edit + INVs =/= winner by any means.

Well, we could count Sandra's blow-up with Fairplay. It was nuts but because it was against someone so negative, it probably worked for her rather than against her. However, Fairplay then got that confessional saying "I have a million saying Sandra won't be the final one [insert dong noise]" which was probably the easiest clue ever. Some food for thought: I think its important to note that post-ASS winners have all been shown in some alliance or involved in some allaince within the first few episodes: Chris was in the older-men alliance (and was shown consistently trying to keep it together by making Lea not flip, even though the girls' alliance proved to be more powerful and successful) in the first two episodes. Tom was in the Koror 5 (and also tried to get something with Stephenie prior to the Pick 'Em, so Episodes 1 and 3. Danni is a tricky one, so I'm not going to include her, but she was labelled (and got good insight) way around Episode 5 after the swap onto NuYaxha with her boys Brandon, Golden Boy, and BJ. Aras was in the Casaya 4 in Episode 3. Yul had the Korean thing going on with Becky in Episode 2. Earl and Yau's exile quest alliance was around Episode 4? Todd and Amanda in Episode 2. Parvati and the make-out 4 in the first two episodes. Bob and the Onions in Episode 2 and 3. This makes me think that our winner has to be either a member of the Exile 4 or JT (or Tyson as assistant coach).

That's only if the winner was in an alliance. If you're going by this logic, then Erinn CANNOT be excluded because she doesn't have an alliance, therefore it cannot be shown. They have, however, focused numerous times on how she's all by herself (aka alliance of one), and milked everything she had with Candace and now Joe

I'm sure there were discussions about Erinn at the other exile trips. It's an assumption, but it's pretty likely.

This is a really well edited season. I always go back to the opening segment -sorry, Eliza but I don't buy that the first episode isn't cobbled together. Stephen, Sierra and Erinn are the obvious choices from the first segment. I was shocked JT wasn't in it, thought he was. But then the hike comes along -and lots of JT (where I just wrote him off as a merge boot) -but it's all about game and scope and also combined nicely from Stephen's point of view about adapting. Then I wrote off Brendan also while rewatching -but he gets a nice weighty commentary about game and scope that isn't just fluff in the middle of the section. Dammit -came away with all of Stephen, Sierra, Erinn, JT and Brendan having the goods. Doesn't bother me one bit -I want to be in the dark.
