Edit previous response: If Lucy was calling for help, and knew that Trish was around (although no evidence there), Trish would have to dispose of her or help
her. I'm guessing whack job!! (Sorry, don't think it's Trish!)

Was behind 5 episodes and just caught up. Who the hell is this Nikki person? The bar chick?
I think we're lead to believe Abby is Wakefield's daughter, but the illegitimate child is probably someone else from the cast. Who, I have no clue, as it will probably turn out to be the killer. The Sherrif is out at this point, no way he could become the main suspect with four episodes left and be the actual killer. If the killer is Jimmy, this whole show just became a big cliche. Then again it already is, so he probably is the killer. |

I do think Trish is the killer I just don't know the reason yet. I don't think its for money b/c she could have done that on her own outside of
Harper's Island and not have to waste the time. . .and MONEY to invite 25 people over, pay a wedding planner, pay for people's meals, etc.
I kinda suspect her and Jimmy might have a thing though. Episode 1/2 Jimmy told Henry he's marrying hte "perfect princess". Later in the flashback episode Jimmy called Trish perfect again and how Henry+Trish are the perfect couple. He said that Trish is a beautiful girl and then tonight when Trish was hugging Henry (and Abby was hugging Jimmy) Trish looked pissed. Also it seemed that while Trish was driving she kept trying to get Shea to look at her and not the road. UPDATING MY TRISH SUSPICOUS LIST Trish is the only one of the MAIN characters that hasn't had a solid alibi throughout. Reasons to supsect Trish - Her phonecall to Ben seemed to trigger a device that awoke him. After calling him making sure he was up and assuring Abby was on the boat she told the driver to take off - She made a comment about how much the "grooms" loved Henry. It almost sounded like she was jealous. - Madison burns a snail. Most people burns ants but Madison doesn't want to burn/hurt her Aunt. - After having sex Trish wants to have seperate rooms. Shortly after Marty dies. - Henry wants to call Uncle Marty when he's missing. Trish sidetracks him with sex. (kitchen and chocolate) - Trish came up right when the text from Uncle Marty was sent. Assuring he got it. - Not present when Henry discovered Deer Head in Bathroom. Episode Two. She was too busy killing the preacher. Head for a head. - Madison stole the Tower. The Wellington's could be viewed as the Tower card with the top of the tower (Mr. Wellington) meeting his demise first and the family falling apart. - Trish has stumbled/overheard 2 convos regarding her and her family. Thomas/Hunter and Richard/Katherine - 3/4 of them are dead. In addition, anyone that has threaten the Wellingtons or approached them has died. Uncle Marty to Thomas (dead), Lucy about Hunter (dead), Malcom for money (dead), Booth wanting to get the cops involved still (which woul affect the wedding is dead). - Cole released his dog on Thomas and Trish. Perhaps he suspected Trish. - Abby finds a paper about more killings after Wakefield death. On one of them somebody writes "Another Wakefield" Trish and her family visit the island periodically. Perhaps Trish kills when she returns home. Maybe she's the original killer and the Wellington's covered it up. - Trish said she would pick Henry over her father when Henry asked. Trish's dad is trying to break them up. Her dad is now dead - Trish use to work at the museum where the head spear was stolen. The same that killed her father - Trish "discovers" newspaper clippings in Richard's briefcase about Wakefield that she gives to the Sheriff - Another "Tower" reference is made with Madison and JD building ones with cans. Madison kicks the bottom one and the tower fell. Trish would be at the bottom of the Wellington family "Tower". (youngest daughter). Richard was his business partner and seemed to be next in line for the money. Katherine would be next and then Shea. - Henry tries to send Trish home on the charter boat but Trish demands to stay. . .to kill! - Trish demands to see her dead dad. She wants to see what she did. . .she's getting off on it - Trish (not Shea) repremands Sully for trying to get people to leave the island when Madison is missing. . .bitch wants them to stay! - When Chloe makes the list Trish gets up and leaves. The lights go out. . .hmmmm who's missing for that shit. - When Beth disappered she didn't seem to want to look or even fight to look for her. . .like she already knew. Then she was paranoid that Shea would find Madison. Like she didn't want the psychic to know anything. . .almost like she was afraid the psychic might sense she's the killer. - Giving Abby dirty looks tonight - Beth's death would had to be done by a slender female who could fit through the tunnel system. Beth was probably lured/convinced to stay in the kitchen by somebody. I think the only people Beth would have been okay to be alone with are Shea and Trish. |

If henry is the killer Jimmy mistakenly helped him by giving him those diary pages. It would have been quite easy for henry to get rid of the right diary pages and change the message of the entry |

Nikki is listed on the bingo card as "Biker chick." She works in the bar. I think she's actually only been in three or four episodes.
Cabanachat: all of your plausible suspects would have to be related somehow to Wakefield (if they are revenge killings). Additionally, if the copycat killer from the mainland that the sheriff has dedicated himself to is the same person who is killing now, it would have to be someone who was on the mainland the last seven years, and had enough time to set booby traps and stuff now. I don't know that some of the mainland people (like Sully and Cal, presumably) would have any knowledge of the island. Likewise, people like Nikki and Maggie would have few opportunities to go on a killing spree on the mainland. At this point, I'm guessing the copycat killer is NOT the same as the island killer and is a red herring. Additionally, and here's something that I came up with, again about Cole. He told the sheriff that he had been back from the mainland a few weeks/months and that he and J.D. (who presumably FIRST came to the island on the boat with the wedding party), had been investigating the killings. Well, if the only killings that they KNEW about were Uncle Marty (J.D. finding in the tree), and Kelly, what other killings did they know about? |

I thought the booby traps were established as being mostly Cabin Guy's? Isn't that what he explained to the Sheriff?

Understandermant wrote:Well, to refer to Scooby Doo, again, there was an episode where someone was hypnotized into thinking she was a vampire by the sound of a particular buzzer. What if the "Ave Maria" was somehow used to hypnotize Abby? Yes, it is a wild and crazy theory. But, hey 4 more episodes. What else you got? I cannot believe there are only four more episodes. Well, we will run out of people. So who's left on the bingo card? Abby, Henry, Jimmy, Cal, Chloe, Nikki, Maggie, Shea, Trish, Madison, Sheriff, Shane, Danny. If two die in episode 10 "Snap", 11 "Splash" and 12 "Bzzt" each, that leaves a final six for the final episode. Abby wins final immunity. I wouldn't be surprised if the exploding boat takes out two people -- double elimination. |

Trish is an interesting suspect. But, I think the Beth killing rules her out. She's clearly in the room during the fight between Shane and Henry and is
wearing the same clothes. Beth's killer would have to be either naked and covered with blood, or the clothes would be covered in blood. As pointed out,
Beth's bottom half is missing (and super-bloody).

Ok, just rewatched the scene where Beth disappears. Her Sully and Danny are in the same room and then the fight begins with Shane and Henry.
People in the room with the fight were: Henry Trish Sully Danny Maggie Jimmy Abby MILF Wellington People not there: Shea Cal Chloe Sheriff Nikki Shea was later seen in that room where the tower card was. Chloe walks into the other room as Cal is finishing up with the sheriff. So all three don't have an alibi for Beth(the sheriff was out of it). So to me there are only 4 possible suspects left. Shea, Cal, Chloe, and Nikki. Shea couldn't have been the one who grabbed Abby in the tunnels because she was with Trish. Nikki was no where to be found, so who knows about her. Cal & Chloe though, still fit. Here's the other thing....Cal was working on the sheriff, so I wonder how likely it is that he killed Beth. And Cal looked surprised when the sheriff was gone. Chloe really has no alibi for these murders It's got to be one of them. Cal or Chloe. MILF Wellington was killed last after leaving Shane. Everyone is out and or with someone else except........Cal and Chloe who were sleeping. Oh, and Nikki *cough* So I'm guessing one these 3 is Wakefield's kid. Cal would be the obvious choice, but Chloe actually fits the best and Cole Harkin said the killer studied Wakefield which fits Chloe. |

If so, then Cole would be responsible for Lucy conveniently falling into the pit and being killed, Trish & Mr. Wellington's bike ride, and the minister's conveniently being snared and then beheaded by the killer. If technically all the time that has elapsed is a week, what killings is Cole talking about that he and J.D. are investigating? Of course, Cole mentioned that he and J.D. had a suspect -- did they notice someone / the suspect digging holes and putting out snares? |

Does anyone remember hte color of the $%%$*% that grabbed at Abby? I though you could see the very tip of the sleeve and glove. I thought it looked kinda
greenish looking.
Trish, Shea, Sully all had jackets on. Nikki could had a biker $%%$*% on. Shane, Henry, Jimmy, and Danny had no jackets, Maggie had a fat fuck sweater on. Cal and Chloe were naked. |

Might be Chloe. For one of the earlier episodes, she and Cal were on a boat with no wind. I am pretty sure that's the episode where Mr. Wellington is
killed during the rehearsal -- she wouldn't have to be present. On the other hand, she weighs thirty-eight pounds -- how can she accurately shoot Richard
with a harpoon and string him up or cut Uncle Marty in half after she has walked across the bridge (and then later fixes the bridge so that he falls through it
and then cuts him in half and strings him up), or subdue "Cousin Ben" and put him under the boat?

Mystery Buff wrote:Was the bridge rigged or just old? We do know that both Cal & Chloe were in the vicinity of Marty's death. Also, on Harper's Globe they show Cousin Ben getting wasted with Brent, so he could have been easily drugged or even lured by Chloe and then put under the boat. I think people overestimate how much strength is required for these murders. |

she couldn't STOP herself from talking about all the murders and her metrosexual doctor fiancee is
along for the ride. SHE is wakefields daughter ABBY's half sister.

Shane made the point that nothing was wrong on the island until the non-islanders showed up for the wedding. Someone had to know about the wedding (probably
living on the mainland), and came back to the island to set up some of the traps within a month or so. I say a month, because usually invitations to weddings
go out a month ahead of time.
Also, in regard to the Trish/Henry/Abby/Jimmy quadrangle -- might have something to do with "what happened in college" when Trish & Henry broke up and she dated Hunter. |
