Minus the 'Wakefield is alive' bullshit, this was a pretty good episode. The entire cast was present and active for the first time this season, and it was nice to see little things like Sully and Cal finally working together, as well as Shane's redemptive arc coming into play (which leads me to believe he's probably going to die next week).

Shea was acting awfully suspicious when she hushed up Madison from talking to Abby. Something about it didn't feel right.

I REALLY hope the writers don't start doing fake out deaths (like Jimmy's) on a regular basis. I've never been a fan of the 'Booth faked his death theory', and if I have to second guess every death on this show, it's going to drive me crazy. That being said, I'm sure Maggie is gone considering she was hanging there for the better part of a day.

I don't know, the 'Wakefield is alive' storyline has certainly been alluded to since the beginning: Kelly seeing him on the island, the Sheriff having pictures of a potentially alive Wakefield in his attic, etc... But it just feels like such a fucking copout. For instance, tonight every character except the Sheriff (who we now know is NOT the killer) was present in the Cannery and being shot at (with Henry and Cal actually being shot at some point). If the writers want us to do any sleuthing at all (which is half the fun of the show), how the hell are we supposed to cross off any potential suspects if they all could be an accomplice to Wakefield?!? They've just given themselves a trump card to explain the murders by allowing Wakefield to be anywhere at any time up until this point to assist in them. It's fucking awful, even if we do get a payoff that one of the main characters is his son/daughter and has been helping all along.
