Spoiler [+] and wakefield was trying to "protect" abby in some preverse way? as someone else posted.... Henry wasthe killer of all the wedding guests etc... and wakefield was the killer of locals. BUT... it really doesn't explain why kill Maggie, Kelly, the Reverend etc.... I understand wakefield killing the sheriff for revenge...and killing EVERYONE but not the 1/2 and1/2 senerio.

It has just been getting more boring to me each episode. I just watch it to see who survives each week even though I am now 100% sure that Spoiler [+] Henry is the killer and Wakefield is involved in some of the murders (probably all the hanging ones). Nikki is probably the daughter, or someone else. Shane and Danny and someone else will be dead. This show is just very unpredictable to me.

Spoiler [+] oh yeah, that works too. I do think Wakefield's kid will be one of Trish/Shea some way, just because the Wellingtons have been so central to everything all season.

Abby's Mom escaped to Harpers Island to get away from Wakefield. Married the Sheriff and had Abby. Wakefield found out where she was and came to Harpers Island....(saw Abby, did hte math) Sheriff had wakefield put away for 7 years. Wakefield came back to Harpers Island and did his killing spree. IF she had a kid in tow...the entire Island would know. If she was majorly preggers most of the Island would know. (seriously, small town young single woman land in small town.... EVERYONE would know her business) So either she just found out she was preggers and the Sheriff married her right away.... OR she had another encounter with wakefield after moving to Harpers Island. Either way....Abby would fit the age or anyone (nikki) Abby's age.

That's why I think its the most obvious one and the "mystery"...is going to the simplest explanation as well. (besides Nikki is a secondary character...same as Maggie cannon fodder)

Wakefield's appearance has already removed much credibility for the show. As people have said, it's a major copout and it throws out any theories people had coming into this episode. For all our detective work, the producers just shat all over them. The only resolution is for Wakefield to be killed off next episode. Plain and simple. Doubt that'll happen though. 2. It's obvious that the Sheriff didn't know if Jimmy was Wakefield's son. Why sacrifice your life so your daughter could have an incestuous relationship? 3. Seems the show is centralizing around 3 couples: Henry and Trish - whose wedding is the basis for everyone being on the island Abby and Jimmy - the woulda coulda shoulda but didn't Cal and Chloe - whose engagement storyline has been a side story the entire series and possibly the only storyline NOT related to the murders After the scene where Cal gives Chloe the ring to hold on til his return, I cannot fathom or refuse to believe otherwise that the both don't make it to the end and have that happily ever after. It would be too cruel (even for a horror flick) to do that. I'm shifting my suspicions to one of the other couples. One couple will end because one is the killer. The other will end because one or both will die. Madison will survive after Shea is murdered and be taken in by someone else. The rest are cannon fodder. What do we know about Sully and Danny? Besides knowing Henry. Shane will redeem himself by sacrificing himself to save someone. Nikki will just drop off the face of the earth again.
