Posts: 565 (06/30/09 1:01 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Even though my interest has dropped dramatically, I still can't just leave the show after investing so much time and brain power on it (as futile as that was) Random musings: - Just watched "Interviews with the Dead" segment for Cameron (Chloe). Interesting how when she took the plunge, their final scene face down in the water had them looking like they were hand in hand as opposed to being apart like on the public airing. Even more tragic looking now. - I think Wakefield actually wanted Chloe for himself. Maybe he was trying to "replace" the woman he almost died for (Abby's mom?). On that last moment on the bridge, Wakefield pointed his knife at her and waved it in a come hither move. Looks like he was beckoning her off the bridge. Also mentioned earlier, Wakefield seemed to kill everyone onscreen for defense (Nikki and Shane) but I think he killed Cal to get him out of the way to get Chloe back. - many are saying there's this unsaid connection between Wakefield and Trish when he could have just killed her in the Cannery bathroom. Like someone mentioned before, she ran out of ammo so she couldn't shoot anymore. But Wakefield knew she was cornered... no need to rush in and stab her when he could relish the moment. - For Trish to put on her wedding dress willingly is stupidity at its finest. Maybe if she changed into track pants that'd make more sense. Couldn't she wait until she was home to reminisce on what could have been? - It only makes sense if it's either Jimmy or Henry. Don't care who it is as long as it's explained and makes sesne. But I think we already knew the ending would suck balls - Has there ever been a more unlikeable heroine than Abby? I doubt there would be any uproar if she was decapitated. Makes the fact that she will undoubtedly survive make her even more repulsive. - Danny's dead... People don't suspect Danny because of his skin color, they don't suspect him because HE HAS NO STORY. We know absolutely nothing about the guy aside that he's friends with Henry and the guys... other than that, not a damn thing. At least we know Sully's a player and tried to hit on Abby and Trish in the past, and recently Chloe. I wonder why he didn't hit on Beth, the horny single girl... Sully: Who?

I find it really annoying that all these things that seemed to have significance (the screaming man, the china, etc.) actually have no relevance whatsoever to the plot. :\|

Why would you put stuff in that during the show had relevance at the time and was part of the story to then come back and say it's NOTHING? The "screaming man" I understand because that was in a trailer with a TON of stuff that never made it into the actual show. BUT, the other things were put in there for a reason...13 friggin' weeks not long enough to flesh the stuff out. ARRGGGHHH! ESPECIALLY these: Spoiler [+] -Hunter's death was random and not relevant to revealing the killer. -The body buried in Wakefield's grave is not important. -There's no significance to the broken china. Hunter was murdered, not random. The body why have one then? just an empty grave would have been fine the broken china? Again...if it's not important then why put it in at all ...Trish made a huge deal about getting the china then it ALL get broken. It seems that the writters changed thier minds halfway through production ...oh we were going with a mystery...ghost ...haunted kid theme. Then we decided "no, lets just go with the real wakefield still being alive and a murdering psycho" BLAH BLAH BLAH

Someone above mentioned the screaming Native American and the lighthouse, but I also remember a few other clips, including one of Abby and I think Henry kissing. I understand that the show was changed quite a bit after the original pilot was filmed, but are we to assume that those clips were all from that?
