Honestly, Michael getting in baffles me to no end. This will be my only rant on the topic but Jesus I don't understand it.

A horrible rendition of "I Don't Wanna Be". From what I was able to pay attention to (he makes it hard to concentrate with his 5 second to the second mic switches) he displays absolutley no range and figures that he can make up for his blatant lack of talent by adding runs to a song that doesn't only require any, but just flat out shouldn't be sang that way... said runs mind you, were attrocious.

Don't get me wrong here, he seems like a hard-working, family oriented, nice guy, but he can't sing. To have to see Ricky and especially Anoop hopefully sweat it out in the Wild Card round as this guy chums it up with the media talking about how uberly dangerous his job is and how much he loves and adores his family just flat out sucks.

Virtually everyone on this show has a story (sob or otherwise) that could be told. Yes, AI demands them from the onset, and this argument will always arise, but I just cannot respect an average singer going through solely because he works in construction and has a wife and kids. Anoop had a friend murdered shortly before the audition process, but you never heard one word uttered about that - even after Simon egged him on to do just that on the live show yesterday.

Flat out, its like this. Ricky, Boskovich, and Anoop especially have better voices, stage presence, and long term prospects then this guy ever will. The fact that they are penalized because they decided to not mention their family or current tragedy (or the fact that AI chose not to portray it) is wrong on many levels.

BUT, it has very rarely ever been truly a singing compeition. So I digress.
