Don't get your hopes up wanting to see Coach get booted, the Timbira's are still a voting bloc (except for nasty Sierra) JT and Stephen are still too
afraid of Coach and Tyson to try to blindside them. I think we might see Coach feed Sierra some cock/bullshit trying to get her to vote the same as the rest of
old Timbira - to vote out JT. These people have to be smart enough to realize that nobody can beat JT at final 2.

Tocantins >>>>> Gabon
Gabon was just a nasty, bitter season all around. Reminded me of All-Stars in a lot of ways. I'm loving this season so far. |

Seacrest22 wrote: No way. Gabon was far, far, far better than Tocantins by this point. Gabon was peaking to greatness around this point (Charlie boot + SUSIEFIREOWNAGE, since Michelle/Gillian and Dan/Ace were double-boot episodes). Crystal was bringing mad lulz, Corinne was manifesting her Cuntress, Randy was melting down with his SASQUATCH/T-REX hate, and Sugar was still cool. This week's episode equivalent of Gabon was Sugar's cookie diss, Randy melting down, and Crystal's EPIC!!! "YOU HAVE MADE MY LIFE HELL FROM DAY ONE!!!!!" vote. Tocantins? We'll probably get some more boring shit while we still wonder who the fuck Debbie/Erinn are, Stephen is obnoxious, JT gets the golden edit, and glorious TajBeast will be background. Meanwhile we'll get MOAR Coach/Sierra drams, and both are boring and ridiculous. Nah, by this point, Gabon way outpaced Tocantins -- and in Gabon we at least knew who each player was. Tocantins? Many players are still a mystery. Gabon only failed at the F6, when Crystal was booted, leading to the bullshit ending. While Tocantins may get better from this point forward, it is a hell of a lot worse than Gabon by this point.

novaya wrote: Agreed. Tocantins was fairly boring pre-season and just now seems to be starting to get better with the blindside last episode. Gabon was great from about episode 3 right down to the final 5/6 where it all started coming apart, and had quite possibly the worst ending ever. But a huge chunk of it was really good. Plus Gabon did not have Coach so that makes it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better. |

Gabon was basically the survivor version of Flavor of Love, Surreal Life or one of those VH1 reality shows.
Everyone was a larger-than-life figure, they fought constantly over stupid things, and made stupid decisions based on emotion. There was no strategy the entire season. |

I thought both were great seasons. Gabon was very entertaining, but that was at the expense of having a somewhat unstable cast and uneven tribes. Tocantins
isn't as entertaining, but is a lot more consistent, and all the instability is condensed into one Coach, with great results.

Gabon everyone hated and loved SOMEONE regardless of who it was or how it did and that made it great. Everyone also was shown in a positive and negative light. Sugar was shown negatively in the cookie episode, Randy was shown positively in the beginning. Corinne was well... Corinne. Everyone had a dynamic edit, even Bob was shown having a bad temper. |

Gabon was shit from the beginning. You have 1 tribe that's boring and one tribe that's God awfully stupid beyond moron.
And what dya get? A miracle that the stupid annoying tribe managed to get number based on some dumb twist the producer throw at them, resulting to the most embarassing final 6 ever. I only liked Crystal and Matty. Kenny was a fucktard pimp, Sugar ruins Gabon, Bob. Who? Susie useless. this season is not much different, the only difference is that this season we have people that actually have brain. |

hagiz1 wrote:you liked matty??... yeah it kinda was like cruel people vs dumb shits. But the dumb shits were entertaining enough. Sugar to me was kinda like the dreamz character in they had zero strategys , Kinda go in having no clue , flip flop every which way, thus burning pretty much the entire jury and making to the end. I suspect the producers can pick thses types of people who kind of lead with no sense or too much emotion, thus to prevent pagonging because they add an element of unpredicitablity. Or something. |

Sploch wrote: Wha? The only emotional players in Gabon were Sugar and Matty (I swore on my girlfriend! You wrote my name down! WAUUUGH!). There were a lot of tempers, but there was some pretty solid strategy, although the edit made it seem people other than Sugar were just twisting in the wind (Susie post Marcus-boot, Kelly's boot at Fang). We never saw how Matty/Susie got together over Crystal/Susie, and that says nothing about the game -- just the editing. Tocantins was just Survivor Playbook pre-merge: MEN'S ALLIANCE SHALL VOTE OUT WEAK WOMEN HURR (Carolina, Sandy, Spencer [oh, he counts], Sydney), mixed in with poor strategy all its own (Let's take a solid Timbira 6/3 advantage, and turn it into a 4/4 stalemate in losing Sierra, with one of our necessary four -- Erinn -- having been alienated by the others earlier on!). Add in JT being a dull Ozzy/James 2.0 having no real strategy and just being used by others in the game, and what do you have? Taj. And Stephen. There's no great strategy there to compensate for the lack of entertaining personality in Tocantins. The producers are trying desperately in overplaying Coach (over it) and Tyson's clear affected camera-mugging. Ace was a far better "villain" than Coach, and we didn't need constant "Ace, Ace, Ace, Ace, Ace" in Gabon to get that point across as we are in Tocantins. Kenny was a far more entertaining "I'm controlling this game!" character than Stephen. And in Sugar, Randy, Crystal, and Corinne you had post and pre-merge personalities that resonated across the viewership to varying degrees. Tocantins has none of that. If you want to talk about a season with good strategy, then look at Micronesia with Tracy/Chet pre-merge, and Parvati/Cirie post-merge. Not the snorefest that is Tocantins. |

Loving this season........ it has surpassed Marquesas as my favorite season...........
There are so many players I can't stand yet, I still find it wildly entertaining......... The only negative is they have made this the Coach season. However, with an arrogant, media whore idiot like him.......how could they have done it any differently? Should Coach win though, Tocantins will quckly move down my list........... |

novaya wrote:No fucking way, Gabon was the biggest piece of shit apart from China, this show has ever seen. How the hell would Crystal winning that be great? She sucked in every way imaginable. That was also the worst cast ever assembled - Gillian, GC, Crystal, Kenny, Sugar? These people sucked in challenges, were ugly bitter socially retarded people. The only thing that was half way decent about Gabon was Randy - I hope the hell they bring him back for All-Star - he was the true star of that cast. |
